WHAT ???? no errors ? alot of errors ! not so big as popular, and took old time games, not new with alot of bugs, for example take starcraft, its almost bugless game, but still have some small bugs. in RCT there calc errors, opacity errors, speed, many small, but they exist ! And sometimes there music errors, screen scale errors that can throw even BSOD!
Optimisation in game - is fully ok, agree with you!

Chris if you reading this, thank you, continue your coding, please! Even if transport tycoon is beta ver of RCT, keep coding! there stuff that need to be updated, weight of guests, and so on !

In assembly you can name memory locations and thus making it behave like a variable.
In machine language you can’t. But he used an assembler, though. Still a massive achievement, don’t get me wrong but up to the mid 90s we all coded games in assembly. It was just a necessity and when you get practice it becomes much like writing C. And you will make what is called macros for recurring code and you can pass argument into a macro much like an inline function in C

I remember going through digital circuits class in college and learning some assembly. I really enjoyed it and was actually quite good at it but I never could realize a practical aspect to it, much later I learned one of my favorite games of all time was written in assembly by one man and I was absolutely blown away. I still don't think I've picked my jaw up off the floor.

I played TT, RC1, RC2 and Locomotion as a kid. But boy i tell you RC and RC2 is something that lives within me and will probably never cease to keep my heart warm. I have such gratitude towards this man and the childhood he gave me. I vividly remember Christmas times, snowing outside, colorful Christmas tree and beautiful peace, playing RCT2... I'll never forget it. Thank you Chris.
