What I don't get is, isn't that the G-virus that infected Raccon city? Hunk and Co were there to retrieve the G Virus from Birkin and thats the virus that got into the sewers and city water supply, isn't it?

Remember kids, if it reminds you of "Stairway to Heaven" it probably contains a world ending mutagenic virus that creates eldritch monstrosities!

Bit late commenting on this one - but just one observation: and I say this as someone with no expertise, just an amateur knowledge... but am I wrong to believe that the brain is one of those immune privileged sites?

I mean as with Rabies, symptoms begin showing once the virus enters the brain, but with the immune system not able to bypass that barrier, wouldn't that make injecting a vaccine or antiviral redundant?

If that's true, when the likes of Jill get infected and given the speed of how the T-virus moves, by the time Carlos found her and got her Bard's vaccine, it should have been too late to prevent the swelling of the hyperthamous and damage to the cortex. At best after her recovery in the fact she survived; there really ought to be some lasting damage.

I believe it actually does have the ability to resurrect dead cells, as seen in Resident Evil 3 and code Veronica where it revives people that are buried in a cemetery. As well as in Resident Evil 2 reviving corpses in cold storage in the morgue

i would believe that the flower itself evolved when the natives started eating the flower more in general but then again seeing that it was a trial even then it was still deadly but maybe it started evolving more once it realized people were dumb enough to try it maybe hell i have no idea xD

I love resident evil universe. Remember when I found the pdf of the storyline in chronological order. Literally read it every night before bed!
