Camcorder Video to computer - Firewire, i-link, IEEE1394 - which one ???

Just wanted to say I have the exact same camera or atleast similar with the TRV510

i am too much disapointed,i have sony DCR-HC28E video camera or i need transfer my cam movie
to my pc who have window 7 via FIREWIRE card.when i attach firewire cable to pc then nothing
shown in pc
is handycam have FIREWIRE enable option or is this another error.plssss help

Hi, did Sony not supply their handycams to come with DV cables as firewire to USB? If yes, I wonder why this would not be the most efficient and easiest method of transferring videos from camera to pc
