This plugin absolutely sucks. It's just SNIP with extra steps. Avoid this at all costs and use SNIP to display your "now playing" in your streams.
ОтветитьDoesn't work. Tuna will only ever show "tuna progress bar" no matter what settings are used.
ОтветитьFor those getting the issue where it just appears as "%t" (Or some other command) it has been updated to use this format: {title} and it will work.
Ответитьanyone managed to get VLC to show the song title. It jsut shows 'm' for me and no way to change it
ОтветитьTUNA DONT SHOW UP IN TOOLS
Ответитьif anyone had trouble getting audio synced up properly with VLC, check out the tutorial by Scott Fichter for VLC as a media source in OBS! thanks to that and a comment here, got everything working. thanks to universalLP for making this amazing plugin ^^
ОтветитьHow to get music titles from VLC Source when using Streamlabs?
ОтветитьI had issue where it was staying on no song playing, I didn't change the song source from "Spotify" to VLC in tuna settings => Basics => Song source at 25 secs
Ответитьthis is crap i can't figure it out
ОтветитьIs there any way to hide file extensions?
ОтветитьThumbs up as it solved the issue for me! ..but only after reading useful posts from Lady Sander + others. I followed her steps + it worked !
ОтветитьIs this the shittiest tutorial ever?
ОтветитьI done trying to use this plug in as much as i would like it to be apart of my stream i just can't get it to work i think this my final attempt to trying to use plugins on my stream
ОтветитьFor everyone having trouble, I made reverse engeneering to discover how to show the text/name of the song (I am very inexperienced with this stuff). Before starting, you must already have an VLC source with the musics playing (or add them later, but the VLC source on the scene is a must)
1. Create a blank .txt file with any name on your computer, on any folder (I think. Just to be safe I saved the file on the same folder as my music that Im using on the VLC player source)
2. Open OBS > Go to tools > tuna settings > basics > song info outputs > add New
3. In song info path, find that blank .txt file
4. Song format > put some text to show any info you want (I use only "%t" because I only want the name of the song) > ok
5. VLC > VLC source name > find the source you want
6. Apply and exit the tuna settings
7. On the scene, add a text source > below "font", click on "load file" and find that same blank .txt file you linked on the tuna settings > edit as you like
Done! The text must be showing the song that is playing on the VLC source! You can add a "tuna progress bar" source to show the music progress. With showing the image is the same, just save an .png and link it on the same tuna settings as before
I appreciate the plugin, however you start with the Tuna text/image sources on the screen, and don't show us where these files are located, or how to set them up. The settings is only HALF of it. Where's the rest of the tutorial? Edit: I found your Linux tutorial - you show how to install Tuna, right up to the point of adding the sources, but again that part is missing. Thats NOT "... all there is to it"
Ответитьcan you explain slowly and step by step?
i can't add the text
Hi there, I've done all shown successfully but the text isn't showing on my preview/stream. Do i need to add a text source and link it to Tuna?
