Funny, second time this Week i see a Video closely related to my final Exams. Had to deal with the Colour Systems (RGB, CMYK) and the Pantone Colours for a Practical Exam on Monday and had to explain these on the follow up Oral Exam on Tuesday.
ОтветитьOkkkkkk but if you can't print the colour how is pantone printing the colour
ОтветитьSo... In conclusion... Its a bit better than just using rgb
ОтветитьIP must cease to exist. Owning colors or even ideas has been a huge impediment to society only benefitting the intellectual thieves that became stinking rich off IP.
ОтветитьApparently, Pantone sells sneakers as well.
Ответить"Half as energy" sounds way too real
ОтветитьShoulda named
Paint one
I can't wait any longer, I'm getting Nebula now!
ОтветитьI need a Half as Mug. Best spite gift ever.
ОтветитьHave a sub
Ответить"your printer isnt broken, well, it is" i cant wait for the printer industry video next
ОтветитьYeah the Pantone system is what companies need for their branding and recognition. So that way a plastic lid made at five different factories in a jar made a 20 different others all have the exact same color and you can't tell which one was made where. And that's the beauty of the pantone system. And their colors match between plastics paper print labels vinyl etc.
ОтветитьAlso eine DIN Norm für Farben?Ihr seid nicht bereit was wir in Deutschland haben hahaha
ОтветитьHalf as Consulting
Ответитьas.a capitalist myself I don't think anybody should own colors? ridiculous
ОтветитьTechnically they don't own the colors themselves. They own the identifying codes of those colors to make sure the color is laways the same no matter the application.
That's also why they made it a succesfull business.
side by side comparison
Ответитьbro if u give the code
IT WILL BE THE SAME COLOR
the person on the other side of the world will know exactly the color
the thing here is just for real world color comparison and calibration
ff0000 is maximum red
u send that to someone, they will know it is maximum red
it doesnt matter how u see it on ur screen if u want them to print the color
wat matters is the real color and calibration
Isn't that racist?
Ответитьsam babygirl why are you so far away from the mic
ОтветитьCorrection: "Your screen being off" is grey because screens cant't completely block light while on, but there are some standards that do that like OLED, LED and special blacklights that dim a matrix depending on how light it is to try to simulate black.
ОтветитьThere's something to correct in this video. Pantone is not "world's color authority". The closest thing we have is the CIE (International Comission on Illumination).
ОтветитьPantone is really truly incredible
Ответитьimagine owning light that is not perceived in the same way with different species
ОтветитьPointless video
Ответитьim unsure why i watched this as i am colorblind, it was a quarter interesting at least
ОтветитьOpensores color names then
Ответитьme thinking it was crayola before tapping the video:
ОтветитьYou can’t own a color
ОтветитьThis is one of those things humanity has done that make you really question where we put our efforts.
ОтветитьI don't think company's should own color..
Ответитьthis is pretty neat, it's something that seems very stupid at first, but gradually makes more and more sense, and i really like things like that.
ОтветитьThis is how I learned the ups trucks were brown not black
ОтветитьThis is video has a slight lie of ommission. Not everyone uses pantone swatch books, because their colours for other materials have other sorting and storing methods. The short circuit on LTTs plastic pantone set is a useful illustration of the other systems held by pantone. That was stored in sample cilinders and utilised a digital index sent via a CD.
ОтветитьWell we should also mention that one time where Adobe and Pantone didn't agree on extending their licensing and as a result of that all pantone colors used in Illustrator or InDesign were converted to black. That's the problem with having a singular and capitalist provider of consistent color coding.
Ответитьyou should do a video on anish kapoor and Vantablack
ОтветитьI thought they just did hair products.
ОтветитьPantone doesn't own colors - until they do, apparently. Adobe had a license for using Pantone in their software and something happened and they lost it, and a bunch of artists found their artwork to have a lot of black in place of the Pantone colors.
ОтветитьRgb numbers???
ОтветитьI can confirm read has to be one of the worst colors to match most of the time it's not even right you just paint the whole thing and nobody notices it all looks the same from a distance but if you try and match it and put it on you'll never get it right only close and you have to paint it three or four times
Ответить
