Why did the shark venture?? Silly question..cause that's their habitat..it's not ours.

I agree that poor shark was pregnant and starving to death. She should have fed off more humans so she could deliver a healthy batch of baby tiger sharks

Bottom line: if he hadn't been trespassing in the shark's natural habitat, he would still be alive.

The fact that the shark did not have remains in the digestive tract other than the doctor only tells the shark may have not eaten in 4 days. Sharks can live on 0.5 to 3% of their body weight per day.

These people killed a starving, pregnant shark, because she attacked someone who came into her home. People are so entitled, and some wonder why the world is such a trainwreck.

Nothing different about this tiger shark .these r apex predators not sheep or goats nor cattle. They r not herd animals they r problem solvers, incredible hunters, they don't think we r seals. They fear 2 things. Larger sharks & orcas. We r neither & we r in their domain

I'm sorry, the shark was pregnant and in his territory, house!!! Why Popov went to far? I've never been in Egypt, but a normal person when he hears Egypt, Red sea and Indian ocean his mind goes creepy people, sharks and that is enough to be afraid. After that I don't want to see the Indian ocean.

If it was a close relative of mine, I still wouldn't blame the shark. Ocean is THEIR house, not ours.
And thanks to the typical caveman mentality & behavior of the locals, I am feeling more for the shark than the human victim now, though both are innocent.

I think we all need to realise there is no such thing as a 'safe beach', as his father claims Hurghada is. Mandatory law needs to make sure all swimming and surf beaches have shark netted areas.

There is no proof that White Sharks are in the Red Sea. Please don't tell wrong things on such a channel where you want to tell us that this is a honest documentary. If you don't know it for sure, then don't tell it please. Lot of people watched this video and belief this wrong thing because of you.

Just because the shark had nothing in it's stomach doesn't mean it was starving. Sharks that big don't get that way from eating just fish. Sure humans over fish, but stop being dramatic. You people act like children and humanize these animals. That thing was massive and definitely wasn't starving.

Don't believe there is any safe beach on the ocean. Sharks are everywhere. Being shallow does not matter. Maybe a little more common sense. That shark should not have been killed. You're swimming in the ocean where they live. Not right at all.

The shark should not have been killed. It was in its own environment. People should accept that they are at risk if they swim in these areas. We do not own the sea

I dont buy this whole "we are not prey, they dont like how we taste" argument. You may not like McDonalds but if you are hungry enough you will definitely eat it.

All that needs to happen is for a hungry enough shark to cross your path and you are done for. Does it require you to be extremely unlucky? Sure. But no way in hell am I taking the chance

There are big drop offs in that area, and that’s where sharks love to hunt. Once a shark gets up over 8 feet, they want to eat sea mammals and other large animals not just fish. Humans are the slowest animals in the seas, hence the easiest meal. You can’t really say she was starving just because she hadn’t eaten before grabbing a hold of Popov. But she was certainly very hungry and was willing to eat a bony human when apex predators prefer fatty seals. RIP, Vlad. I pray the adrenaline made it less painful.

Seen the footage raw. The video isn’t clear but you can tell the shark wanted him. You hear him shouting for his father too.
This new info makes sense on why the attack was so brutal.

I feel bad for the sharks and the guy. The guy wasn’t responsible for dumping and over fishing. Shark was starving. Unfortunately it and it’s pups were lost too.

Avoidable. Sustainable fishing needs to happen.

If a shark is hungry it will eat people. Fact. Stop listening to the chorus of Shark Weaklings saying we arent on the menu. Or the ol' we dont taste good to them. We might not be their first choice sure. And the oceans are not fished out. Sometimes the fish arent there or sometimes the predator doesn't get the prey. Its a rough world, nature is.

I thought it wasnt pregnant, but it was starving. Vladimir really suffered, he had both arms taken right off the bat I think he had them out to try to protect himself, by the time he calls for help to his dad, he had no chance of surviving even if rescue got to him in time. From what the autopsy report said he had his face severely injured, I think his lower jaw and face were taken, then the shark came around and grabbed his shoulder and head, and took it from his body. It is one of the most awful tragic attacks Ive heard, and so traumatizing to all who saw it especially dad and girlfriend Im so sorry they had to see that.

You are so full of it is that why the thing swam around was half his body and its mouth for two hours and did not eat it they could not get his torso away from that shark for two hours. That’s why they drive it to the beach and beat it stop lying. They’re covering it up.
