Visited Egypt last month and it was one of my best holidays ever. Didn't do a cruise, but the big advantage was we could go to abu simbel after all the nile cruise tourists. We could experience Abu Simbel with only 25 people on site instead of hundreds. I recommend Egypt to everyone who likes ancient history and culture.

Nubians are not “Sudanese” Nubians are an ethnic group that live in Southern Egypt and Sudan and a few other places. They’ve been in southern Egypt for thousands of years and were part of ancient Egypt.

Nubians in Egypt are Egyptian and Nubians in Sudan are Sudanese its a tribe on both boards and thats their origins.

the Nubian are Egyptian but their border started from Aswan till Ethiopia , their are never being enemy and a lot of Nubian Soldiers work in Egyptian army , In Egypt we have 2 type of them the first which life in the south side in downtown and toking (Kenzy) second which life after High Dam and now they life in Com Ombo city toking (Fageka)

Would you recommend taking the cruise or bypassing the cruise and drive/Uber from Luxor to Aswan or vice versa? I want to visit the sites but want to get there early and do them with private tour guide if possible. I know the cruise ships take you out but are you with that group for the duration of the sites or can you go solo or hire a private after you dock?

Such a great video. Just to make sure I'm understanding correctly, Abu Simbel was not a part of the cruise? You mentioned you drove to the city it's located in and stayed in the town so I was kind confused by that. Can you clarify?
