Its called the AFCS. It is an autopilot for aircraft. Funny thing is that all commercial airliners in America, the pilot and copilot only truly worry about the take off and landing procedures. Other then that, in flight, everything is autopilot, they just monitor surrounding and their display units.

Wow, probably the most misinformed review I’ve ever seen. First, the upgraded seat is not first class, it doesn’t have more leg room than any other airline except spirits regular seats with like 29” of pitch. Regular economy for most airlines except Southwest in the United States is 30”. Southwest is still 32”, which makes a big difference. Second, the pilot comes out of the cockpit to use the bathroom is not unusual, you probably just don’t see it from where you normally sit. Third, turbulence on one spirit flight posted to the internet does not mean anything about their pilots as a whole. Ugh…
