Remember, everyone starts somewhere. I've been in bands that have won top awards. I've been in bands conducted by some of the most influential people in music. And SO MANY of my memories are from middle school band. God it's so bad. It doesn't sound off to you in the moment unless you've got perfect pitch (it amazes me that people that have that make it through middle school band) because YOU are off with the rest of them. You might be 30 cents sharp and NEVER notice it. It's incredible.
