It seems like this method is absolutely fine for those who do Retail Arbitrage. However if a seller has a product with his own brand name on the product and doesn't want someone to sell on his listing, then he should go ahead and get a UPC code.

When I follow your instructions and I get to the last step (Generic, I dont have a product ID,...) when I click submit it takes me to the next pages (description, products details, offer,...). For sure I'm doing something wrong. Having an Amazon store display name different than Generic, can this be the problem? Thank you very much for all your help.

There was a listing I jumped on and we were about 10 sellers on that listing, however, the listing owner filed for Intellectual property rights and I was blocked from the list.

How is that possible since the seller has no Trademark and was exempted from GTIN?

What about if someone has a brand registry, and then list a product with GTIN exemption. ? Still people are able to copy/map the listings. ?
