Stadia was one of the best things I discovered coming from Xbox. I've been gaming mainly on Stadia I can't go back, I've been wanting to try GfN but difficulty of getting access on it plus the price has turned me off. It needs to be more easy to access and do something like stadia where they give people access on their premier edition as a bundle deal. Keep up the good work @Doc_Dark1989

Microsoft cant make it as good as stadia without paying them. Most streaming services run off of windows and nvidia gpu's but google made their OWN just for stadia. And built for streaming. Also geforce now has wait times and with founders. You can play for 6 hours. For free, 1 hour.

I've tried all the streaming services you mentioned. Had Shadow PC for a year, the quality of the stream was hit and miss most days. I currently use Stadia, Geforce Now (founder), xCloud with GPU, Luna. Stadia is by far the best experience you can have streaming games, hands down. Geforce Now second, Luna and dead last for me is xCloud.

The quality of the stream and the spot on input controls is genuinely quite a step above the others.

Once you go Stadia, you never go back 😉

I’m a 39 year old dad and Google stadia is just the winner. I don’t have a library in Xbox and I go for speed and ease of use. Stadia wins hands down and I’ve tried the shield. Once Google adds the stadia app to the Google chromecast with Google tv, that’s a winner.
And I’m an Apple fanboy...

Yo doc...have u tried psplay...in google store... suppose to allow u to play ps games on mobile.. better than remote play..and it got gyro support...check it out. haven't tried it cuz I've been on that stadia..but got me interested....nice vid btw

I'm just going to leave this here. The Nvidia Shield Tv has the same casting technology that the Chromecast has, I'll even go as far as to say it has a more powerful processor than the Chromecast ultra. The benefit of the Nvidia Shield Tv over the Ultra is the fact that it has android tv built into it which means that you can run more cloud gaming services on it instead of just being limited to streaming just Stadia on the Ultra. I don't know what issues you're having with the performance of streaming the Geforce Now on the Nvidia Shield Tv, but from what we have tested it's one of the best ways to experience the service especially using the Ai upscaling to get 4k on Geforce Now games. I applaud you for giving the Shield Tv multiple chances, but I think there might be some user error here. Hit us up let us help you see the true potential of the Nvidia Shield TV. I agree with most of what you're saying Doc but you didn't mention that you have to re-buy the games you want to play on Stadia because it won't let you play games you already own on other platforms like Steam, etc. So if I already own Assassin's Creed Valhalla on Steam and I wanted to play it through Stadia I would have to purchase it again on the Stadia Store. Also if I purchase games on Stadia, what's gonna happen if they shut down the service, do I lose those game purchases? Unless they have a subscription where they let me play games without having to buy them like GamePass I would not trust Google with the games I buy through Stadia.

I tried geforce now a few times one time I waited over a hour just to get space on a server and most times I'm waiting 5 odd minutes I think that's a major factor to why I don't like it I use chromecast with Google tv it supports geforce now and I sideloaded stadia and xcloud bro I think you need to try this device once everything is ironed out nicely with stadia and xcloid natively supported its a dongal for your tv with support for all your ondemand and all your cloud gaming in 1 place

This is so far the only video I do not agree with from you. The device best for gaming is the shield to me. That is solely because I can play a wide range of games on the shield. Stadia, Geforce and all of the emulators I can put on the system is ridiculous. I would mention gamepass on shield too but its a hit and miss on how well the games work. On top of that it's also a really good regular stream device that is capable of being a media server at the same time (which I know is not gaming but a great feature).

Low key the only one that can compete with stadia on booting up a game is Switch cuz you dont even turn off the damn thing. 😂😂 Great video Doc!

I hope Nvidia stick with the current Sheild TV Pro hardware and update the software.
