This workout consists only of exercises that I do as a part of my regular strength and conditioning routine, so they are very specific to volleyball players' needs. 3 circuits of 4 exercises each, including a volleyball movement set. If you don't have access to any equipment, I hope this can be helpful!!

ОтветитьI’ve been doing this for 5? days already and it’s been going so well, I used to not be able to do push ups at all and it was hard but now after 5 days I can do them with no struggles omg, I also overall feel sm better and my approach and block jumps have better better aswell, so nervous for tryouts but I feel more confident about my abilities and athleticism after doing this workout for almost a week now
edit- STOP FOR CIRCUIT TWO I CAN LITERALLY DO REGULAR PUSH UPS NOW I USED TO NEVER BE ABLE TO DO ONE THIS WORKOUT IS AMAZING
edit 2 - it’s been 9 days I just checked and I’ve been doing really well with this workout :) tryouts are in 6 days and I feel stronger and I’m less anxious but more excited to show myself to the coaches and show them what I can do !

ОтветитьWorking out until that chika dance guy finds a girlfriend (I've done exercises like these, but I've given up countless times, so it wasn't as difficult as it would be had I never done this before.
Day 1: Pretty good, but those isometric mfs caught me off guard.. For me, it's really easy to give up, but I'm happy I pushed through!

ОтветитьI did it! It was soo tiring lol but at least I managed to finish it! However do any of you feel discomfort on your wrists? I have weak wrists and the push ups and similar exercises were really hard because of this. Planks weren't that hard because they were done with arm support. Can I support myself with my arms instead of my wrists for the push ups and the other similar exercise like with the plank? Would that still work? Thanks so much for the video!! ✨ 💞

Day 2: I wasn’t going to do it today because I’m lazy and sore, but I am doing it right now. The first circuit is so difficult for me- Keep needing breaks.. 😩

Did this workout for the first time this morning, I’m trying to get back into volleyball to try to make my school team in the fall. This workout wasn’t as intense as I thought it would be but I think I’m gonna start feeling the soreness tomorrow. My plan is to do this Monday, Wednesday and Friday to try to help prepare myself alongside a short summer camp and practicing with my mom. I think I might update this comment when I complete the workout in the future.
Wednesday: I was pretty sore yesterday all over my body. It’s too hot for me to do the workout outside so I’m going to do it tomorrow when I won’t get heat stroke.
Thursday: just finished the workout, I procrastinated doing it all morning but it felt great. It was definitely harder than Monday and I sweat a lot more but I think that’s because of the heat here in Winnipeg. People probably won’t be reading my edits but I just want to keep a log to motivate me to do this. Thank you for helping my endeavour to play Volleyball Sarah! I’m going to a skills camp at the start of July
Monday: the workout didn’t feel as difficult as it did last week. I’m super excited for my volleyball camp next week. Also, the swimmer part is definitely not a part for me to catch my breath, it’s one of the hardest parts of the workout 😅.
I have volleyball tomorrow so this is a perfect workout for me to do
