Which Budget Capture Card Should You Buy?? (Wish.Com vs Elgato)

No but when I found one for $50 on sale at micro center, sure it gets a little warm but I haven't had overheating issues it does 1080p 60 fps, I'm not making my wallet cry with elgato bs.

I am willing to buy elgato for streaming and recording pc games, but i have only 1 pc with dual monitor, so which elgato i have to buy , elgato camlink or elgato hd60x , please help me🙏🏻

One thing that's driving me crazy is the mic audio. How does the streaming pc pick up your mic? Do you have to connect it directly to the stream pc or does it just pick it up solely through the HDMI cable? Hopefully someone can answer as this has been the only reason ive been putting off buying a capture card 😅

Ive seen some of these cards and i know vivitar has one and it looks like a clone. Does anyone know if the old skool or the vivitar cards have hdmi passthrough? This way i dont have to use a splitter for my ps3 streams.

I've duplicated your setup with the HDMI splitter and the small USB capture device. I was getting audio the first few days, then I had to unplug and plug back in both HDMI cables to get audio capture, now I can't get audio capture at all. This may be related to a windows update, but do you have any ideas? I have the privacy permissions turned on for apps to use camera and microphone.

I use that 13e capture device it cost here fin 20e type c-end but you get adpter to usb.Then i have splitter it gives quite good quality.

My main issue is not so much with the capture cards on their own, but when used with a splitter. It's really really hard to find a splitter which doesn't change the footage at all. Colors, details, something.

I have multiple ones of the $7 ones and they Definitely had less lag than the Elgato... I sold my Elgato immediately. Im using Ubuntu 18.04 and Guvcview and OBS. elgato is a rippoff
