Sounds like a Dud to me send it back for a replacement, better still get out of EV's altogether, wait until the battery starts to degrade, you will have a lot more problems.

The one big thing that is broken on the Ford Lightning, is the spirit of the guy who paid $50,000 to $91,000 for that EV!

Sadly this type of build quality is kind of normal for most all new vehicles now...I have coworkers with similar experiences out of a new Tundra, one with a new Ram, and one with a new F150 3.5 V6, even my neighbor with a new Tesla is having non stop glitches....The days of buying a new vehicle and driving it 10 years with nothing more than say a water pump or 1 power window dying is over with...

I have a 2022 Kia and whenever I turn the turn signals on it thinks there's someone in the lane I'm merging in to. Also, every single time I back out, it warns me that someone is coming from either direction. It has also auto brakes at the most ramdom times, several times almost causing an accident.

fuse or loose electrical connector or something like that.

The trunk cover malfunction is reminiscent of the big problem on the 2002 Lincoln Blackwood automatic tonneau cover. Laughable.

Right off the bat this guy shows he is a dumb*ss. Obviously the frunk is not going to close on his child and chop off his arm or leg. Would this guy really design a truck that would do that? Apparently.

Perhaps the warning about an obstacle on the right side of the truck was triggered by the camera seeing that your truck was almost on the line delineating the parking slot you were in.

So many shade of issues I had with my F150 Ecobroke. Why Ford remains #1 in truck is a mystery. Sooo glad I went with 2022 Ram Limited. It has been been bullet proof! Good luck with Ford. They are masters of “cant reproduce problems” UNTIL the warranty is done and then they will know EXACTLY what is wrong! Be prepared!

All this technology is not made for vehicle that’s gonna be in the hot 100° + weather -30° weather, many of them are OK for the first maybe 4-5 years after that they are disposable, do you know how much ford tail lights on the high end trucks cost a piece about $2500 that shit will break even if nobody takes a hammer to it or an accident, that’s only a fucking tail light

I’m sorry but if you buy a truck for massage seats and outdo opening doors, you definitely don’t deserve a truck. Close the darn hood/ trunk yourself. Get yourself a Lexus or fancy Car/suv not a freakin truck!

It must be frustrating as heck to be a service technician for one of these car manufactures these days and try and troubleshoot all of these issues not like back in the day in the 1960s and 1970s but he just had an engine transmission some power switches and that was it
