I was planning on doing minion instability, but using them to detonate gas clouds which I could constantly spam. I just wonder how the gascloud explosion scales?

how do i monetize tears of "no ascendency for minions"

i was thinking too in to go for minions my last class in d4 was a necro and it was fun mechanics.

I hope there is a fire breake spell and go infrnalist and burn the world down.

I'm hoping that the final ascendancy for witch is more minion focused. I know they said no Necromancer, but still, something more than these would be nice for the class fantasy.

I've spent so long waiting for valid melee in poe1, and now that poe2 is here I'm gassed for the first time in the long time to play a spellcaster. What has GGG done to me?

Just a FYI to all minion enjoyers in PoE2 minions are not spells like PoE1. You need + to minion skills or + to all skills, any + to phys/fire/cold/chaos spell gem does not work on minion of that type.

Could someone please explain how you would control minions to go to a certain area or open a door/chest on console ? I don't know how you would command them like that without a mouse, thanks

How’s 4 seconds feel too punishing? It drops to 3 from a passive point and if it’s reduced anymore they may as well be unkillable which would be stupid. I’m not sure why they put minions in the game with only 2 ascendancy skills affecting them and it’s nothing exciting or game breaking. Minions need a full ascendancy option or at the least make the next which ascendancy be 1/2 about minions 1/2 something else. This is the biggest L move they’ve made so far as well as having 3 types of charges that do nothing with hardly any skills that can use them

It will be great if the 3rd ascendence class Is minions based... But at the same time It will Incredibly sad that the 3rd class will be full minion based since It will be when game fully releases XD

Sounds like a nice build. Im leaning towards Detonate Dead Infernalist aka Detonate Dog build

I am disappointed with the ascendancies, I know they wanted to avoid the Necromancer problems of PoE1, but the options are incredibly meh across the board for a summoner in PoE2 so far.

I love Necro so you made my choice since your going pyro which is where I was leaning but now Im going blood, lets be honest she looks primed in blood and ready for me.

Was gonna go block aegis anyways so the gemling aint that far of a start 😅

Maybe unearth and the power charge zombies are going to be useful here to bridge the gap for the timer so you aren't defenseless if your minions are getting dunked on? Or you will just always want to run at least one cleric minion to be reviving your other minions.

are you sure the raging spirits reach low life just from infernal legion alone? they live for 4 seconds and take 20% of their life per second from infernal legion. if you put in some minion res they may outlive that and without resistances should be pretty bad for your other minions...

People are actually moaning and whining before the game has even released. What a crap generation the latest one is. Trying being optimistic and give your moaning genes a break.

Demon form looks nice, but weird direction.. it basically works as gaining lets say a staff that has (at 10 stacks) 100% increased spell dmg, 16% cast speed i think, +4 all spell lvl and what seems like evade extander (for MH players, not evade window) at the cost of 10% life degen. Then the rest of the ascendancy is basically deffences or ignite (the lowlife route will cost you all 8 points so forget that on its own)... idk it looks sick but for both caster and minions, i dont know if it's gonna be enough compare to stormweaver or bloodmage 🙊 am still gonna try to make a demon caster build, but we will need to see what bis caster weapons look like. Might be a good league starter tho

aside from just keeping the weapons active while transformed, a workaround for the desummoning of minions, would be to give the Demon transformation skill, a buff that while transformed, grants a certain amount of Spirit based on the skill's level, which would be equivalent to, or just slightly better than what you'd expect to find on scepters at that level

Only one node of Infernalist will even interact with Popcorn SRS and all that node will do is give 20% extra damage during the limited time window while you're high flame. While there are so many cool things you can do with the other ascendancies, minions getting 20% extra damage some of the time isn't exactly cutting it for me. I think I'm canceling my plans to start minions.

ah the spicy doge build i see

Looking at poe2db, I do not see the "Persistent" Tag on the Bind Spectre Gem, nor do I see "Reviving" in the Gem description, nor do they have a Spirit reservation. Can anyone confirm that Spectres will be automatically be resummoned? Or do we just lose them when killed like in PoE1?
In another story, it is both funny and cringe to see all the other content creators staring at Ghazzy wearing the maid's dress while in the hot tub. rofl!

Hmmm. I thought every 4sec either all minions resurrect, either one minion resurrects in a queue.
System you described is very counterintuitive.

These following skills will be used on Bind Specter for me just to enjoy minions blowing up for some Humor.
Minion Instability, Infernal Minion, Elemental Army, Essence Harvest, Meat Shield, Minion Instability.
