HOW Is Jadar So UNPOPULAR?! #mtg

Its unpopular for tons of reasons. Plenty of commanders do exactly what he does but better. One creature per turn is nice early, but it quickly becomes weak later in the game.

The once per turn 2/2 is what gets me? He just doesn’t feel super impactful ya know? Like sure a blood artist trigger per turn is nice and all, but in 40 turns if blood artist gets the win then that’s a different problem

He's unfortunately just better in the 99 of all the legends you mentioned in the vid as commanders, he pulls decent weight in them but i cant think of a reason i would want him in my command zone

He's used often in the 99, of the much better commanders you mentioned in this video

I forgot to mention it in the vid itself, but Jadar is ranked in the 1000’s on EDHRec, which is what prompted the video. I don’t think it’s the strongest Aristocrats-style Commander out there, but it seems relatively unpopular compared to its power level.
