Players shouldn't know what a target's direct HP amount is, I never cared for that. If you want your players to be able to tell how close their opponent is to death, then they should have multiple image states to reflect how hurt they are, like Final Fantasy Mystic Quest.

What happened to that other recommended plug-ins video? But more importantly that music that plays in the second half?! I’m frustrated that I don’t know what that song is! It echoes in my head still and it has Yuuka Kazami on the background for the second half and one of the games shown was a LMBS demo with ToD characters in it!

Yanfly has wonderful plugins but now they charge for about every single core plugin which makes it hard to do anything.

I'm looking for a Traits system e.g. certain skills will only affect enemies with a 'furry/undead/mage' trait. Will Weapon Unleash help do this?

Sounds interesting. I might use these if I ever make a new RPG.
But for now, as I'm working on a puzzle game, I won't be needing any of these, so I'll just keep them in mind for the future.

If I use YEP_CommonButtonEvents and set the I key to open the iventory, how can I do that if the I key is pressed again that the scene is closed?

Soo, yeah. I use a lot of Yanfly plugins because they are so amazing and therefore it's too hard to choose only 10... so I just list 10 plugins that are not from Yanfly but they are really awesome too:

Solid list! The ending growl/whatever is great for an encounter SE. Yanfly's stuff is soo good, without those plugins (and scripts with the older editions)
I wouldn't have been able to stay into RPGM for as long as I have. I love how dungeons of driftwood is turning out! I can't wait to grind a couple hundred hours into that.

Nice list Drifty. The work you put into the production of this video shows lol I know that pain xD. I agree with the list 100% myself too since those are all my favorites of Yanfly's plugins. My most liked one would be the Grid Free Doodads (since that's my field I excel at) but as you stated, it loses value because of the MV engine itself not allowing it to be shown in the editor. Partner that with region restriction and you'll be able to see where things are but it's still not as convenient as if it were to just show it in the editor itself x.x. I will never understand why they don't just make the option for toggling a grid lock or not to the engine xP would make everything better.
