Dave Ramsey Responds to the Mint Budgeting App Shutting Down

My Mint has been switched to CK and it's junk now.

Credit Karma doesn't migrate all the data! and they trick you to move there. My transactions got dumped on an Excel 'spreadsheet.', yes on Excel! NOT the Credit K webpage. Lost transactions, many functions, the ability to see categories grouped. etc. Won't let me go back to Mint. Need to prepare taxes and it all wen to the a black hole. You will die trying to by pass the robots that answer the phone "customer service" and auto email replies. Desperately looking for an alternative to start from scratch.Thanks for your video. I wish I had the money to sue Credit Karma. They are playing with people finances and state of mind!***** THANKS FOR YOUR VIDEO!

Nope don't need help knowing the cost of stuff.... nor what I spend. But likely do have an income issue when all the bills are added together!!!!

Dave - You told us to cut subscriptions out of our budget. Can you stop using a subscription sales model on your budgeting app, and just sell it for a $99 lifetime subscription, instead of $80 a year? Please, help me manage my budget smarter!

I'd be pissed and put off by this plug if Dave's team was selling snake oil, but the app really does work. No ads, not annoying, genuinely useful. As a software developer, I can say it's a really nice application

i have tried the Dave Ramsey program for veterans.. It sucked! The advice is for neophytes in finance, not mid-level to advanced knowledge of finance.

get Tiller instead of Mint

I love the free budget app but I’m Canadian and the premium version is not available to Canadians. I hope there is plans to change that.

Whatever question you have to Ramsey, the answer will always be a qualified ‘No’.

The credit karma app is awful and so buggy. Accounts won’t refresh. Customer service is so buggy too.

Mint cost me nothing. I’m not doing another subscription, sorry. $13/month to see transactions isn’t happening

I think they are just integrating those functions into credit karma instead of having mint as a separate app

Looks like Everydollar sells your info just like Mint did, but worse cause you pay for the primium. I heard YNAB doesn't do this and they are very clear in the T&C.
