I’ll be damned, Thursday again! I hope you’re all having a great week and I’m incredibly grateful to see you back again for another video. Tonight’s episode of TCOB is probably one of my favourites of the year, so I hope you enjoy it just as much. Of course if you hate it, feel free to let rip in the comments ;)

NB: For the international audience, I understand you may be confused that there’s a bowl of fried pieces of batter in the bottom left corner which remain uneaten. In Britain we call these ‘scraps’ which I understand might be lost in translation to those overseas. These do not have to be eaten as part of the challenge, I assume because they’re just loose bits of fried batter that accumulate in the fryers of most chippies. I hope that clears up any potential confusion.

Hi Adam, have you ever encountered a bone in the fish before? It seems that you aren’t chewing too much and then swallowing so I was just wondering if you ever encountered a bone when eating fish. Could potentially be dangerous.

For 18 quid that is too cheap to be true, you could easily feed a family of four with that amount of food, and the locals are really spoilt with that place on their doorstep. I said it was too good to be true, just saw it's from 3 years ago, still looked good though.

OMG I LOVE authentic English Fish N Chips.... that fish was GIGANTIC..... you sure it wasn't like a giant grouper or shark lol. Looks delicious.

Fish & Chips is Portugese in origin, 15th century dish. I still love it, nothing better but you have to hunt for a decent chippy. There's loads in the North East, the Magpie in Whitby is renowned, another is down on the seafront in Saltburn... Ramsden's was fantastic a while back but they have gone a bit shit over time. There was one where I am in Norfolk but he folded it up and it's something else now.

my first ever sea fish catch was a 19lb cod the captain said when it got to where we could see it why did you not tell me how big it was i said i told you its my first time sea fishing how the bloody hell was i supposed to know how big it was until i saw it he said ok fair point i will let you off this time and we had a good laugh
