Dude, MAD props to Orlando Bloom. I feel like he gets wildly short shrift for his unbelievably brilliant portrayal of Legolas. He knocked it out of the park, capturing Legolas' wisdom, athleticism, lethality, and personality. In a cast stacked with amazing talent, I feel like Bloom gets overlooked, which is a shame because he clearly put a TON of work into this role, especially the fight scenes. Bravo, sir.

What a great elf with long blond hair, pointy ears and blue eyes. Legolas is skillful warrior in swordsmanship and archery. Very fast, athlete and strong. I like this guy. He is one of the elves of Rivendell who are immortal, young and beautiful. Epic and awesome. That Legolas is also brave, bold, daring, and handsome.

It’s not that I don’t love dark, curly haired Orly B (because I do!). But holy moly, all he has to do is put on elf ears and a blonde wig….FUCK MY HORMONES!!! Legolas and his father Thranduil were done really well in the films and really portrayed Tolkien's ideas of what skilled Elf warriors were capable of. The speed and grace in which they fight, but strength as well. I also like how they do not show fear.

The fight scenes in the hobbit were too superpowery, so I can see why the kids in the comments like them so much. I prefer the original trilogy. He has the skills of an elite fighter, but it's still believable.
