It doesn't have to be soon or even in 10 years, but eventually I kind of want to see more of the original design of the game. It was a great idea and I can see it having potential as a good pve game.

I'm very excited for this game. Getting my subs hyped for it too!

Initially looked promising back in the day; looking for something to supplement my L4D2 coop fix. But now? This is just a bizarre direction to head.

What bright spark decided PVP?

Enemies being able to hear your voice chat if you're close enough is cool and all, but it seems like a horrible design decision. If you're playing the game with a friend, you'll be using third-party software like Discord or Teamspeak, so that element is removed entirely. But if you don't have a friend to play it with, and you're queueing up with a random person (which admittedly I'm just assuming is possible), you need to use the in-game voice chat to communicate, and then that element IS a risk. That's not added challenge; that's punishing players who want to play with someone not already on their friend's list.

I just recently heard about this game and decided to look up some videos, articles... I'm really looking forward to it! I love the setting of the game, the enemies and overall the feel of intense team vs team gameplay.

I was wondering where this game went all these years. I was thinking it got canceled.

This game sounds really fun, but there should be constant updates with new maps otherwise it will become stable. And now depends if i pay 60$ for this game and the new maps have costs.. then again it will be bad.

According to reviews of ex crytek employees on Glassdoor the situation is dire at Crytek. If they don't manage to finish this and have succes they will surely close.

Would there be a type of fear mechanic? For example: Low health and low ammo, enemy movement around triggers a longer reload time, or more hasty movements that increase the possibility of discovery?

First company to be innovating on the survival genre great mix of horror, and screw that devs go ahead and make jump scares, make this game innovative, make it so you can mess with players and have certain items that are like beacons to scarier NPC monsters that hunt in the woods like werewolves or witches, add a little flare to dynamic big boss battles in the world that will have PVP players forced to work together to survive

this looks awesome...and i love crytek...those guys have a heart and always put a lot of effort into their games...such a great team...think i'm gonna give this game a go...hope it's all do-able solo...cos i have no friends to play with!!

Oh no wonder it looks like a stupid action fps. damn, I kind really liked the RE4 vibe to it with monster hunter style bosses.

i lost interest the moment they said PvP. Its just going to be a mass kill fest of players. I was expecting a proper CoOp PvE game :-(

Pumped for this, don't include third person stick to the true FPS experience, third person would just take away the immersion.

Hunt does look fantastic, although I prefer singleplayer games, I might try it out.

Just a quick advice for the devs, If this is going to be a multiplayer game (which it is) and you want to have a lot of people playing the game and not have your game turn into a ghost town after two month, You can't make this game like a crysis game where people have to buy top of the line gears to play the game.
Aim for the average user's hardware and try to get the most people in while also have a decent visuals next to it.
