Mines just arrived and My LCD screen doesn't light up. Glowing a dull grey but no menu or picture. Am I missing something? My eye piece works fine.

thanks!     so, how is the zoom on this video cam? I wont buy the Canon AX 20 cause the zoom is jerky. any suggestions? 

my question is it has far smaller censor then even the gh4 does that mean its going to be worse in low light? i do know however this camera has a 8mp censor which might helps some but low light how does this thing perform compared to the sony x70 and even the gh4?

GoPro Hero4 has 120fps in 1080p and this HC-X1000 has not….? Why? I would love to have that feature.

Great review guys. You've more or less single handedly convinced me to buy this over sony's new model.

8-bit 4:2:0    as it's a consumer camera.  This camera is awesome, but not for Color Grading.

Now that's a nice camera.

i don't think the footage is anywhere as detailed as the GH4. this is the 3rd video I've looked at and the other 2 were straight from Panasonic. plus the for instance the FDR-AX1 looks a lot sharper and detailed than this camera in 4k. anyone else underwhelmed with the IQ of this camera?

is it a 3 x 1/2.3" MOS Sensor or it only has one 1/2.3" MOS Sensor?

I've used the HC cams for years, its great to see the features being improved upon and added to like this. I just wish I could get a little more low light performance/dynamic range out of them
