ive seen alot of people say they didnt play lock due to the minmaxxing, mastery swap etc. and affliction is probably just too hard to play i guess cuz i havent seen a single aff lock on my server do more than 10k dps.

The mastery set swap pre pull ruins warlock. Its annoying in and of itself, but made worse by people sometimes pulling early, potentially leaving you in mastery set with 0% hit etc. Not worth the headache for a lot of people. And the difference is so big that youre kinda forced to do it

One glance at the warlock discord and you can see why there's a lack of them, most people don't like playing demo or doing mastery set swapping, the other 2 specs are just way more fun to play but people won't invite them as they are considered lesser specs

Been a warlock main for years but rerolled surv hunter because im not a fan of carrying around a mastery set or dealing with people starting combat before i can switch gear sets. I will still use my warlock for PVP

I think Shadow Priest is getting ignored quite a bit. They can PUMP if the player is good and finds the their windows.
