In this day and age we have some really sick people roaming around but your fantasy won't ever happen I am thinking and you are just making stuff up for veiws. It is too complicated. Murders just kill and torture they don't play a bunch of gruesome videos while they are doing it.

There's nothing I find less impressive than hack film making like this. It's not subversive or transgressive in any meaningful, artistic sense. It's just misery marketing for clout.

I'd rather watch a movie like A Serbian Film. At least that had artistic merit and intent, little as it may be.

The director also sounds like he's completely bereft of any thought deeper than he'd find and parrot on South Park.

Well I ain't paying for it and I can't find it online so I guess I'll just have to recreate the movie myself.

15 years ago Internet was peak gore and jailbait. Consumption junction, dumpster sluts etc etc. Internet is so regulated now. even Google hides drug searches on questions such as dosage and methods on I take etc. Instead now we have tiktok. I honestly prefer the old internet. It's tame and lame as fuck now. I don't want to use the deep web I just prefer the days when the internet was a sideline thing and not the main purpose of life.

I watch these movies because when you see the extreme things that happen in reality it's even worse and it depends with what intention you watch them there is only 2 reasons either to learn and see the true evil we live in or you are just sick.

Are real torture and snuff scenes still allowed in movies? I thought only in documentaries for obvious reasons.

Speaking for many, myself I have never killed an animal or one being killed in front of me. With the change of time we don't have to hunt and kill our food. All we have to do is go to a store. I'm 58 and happy that I have never had to kill. I'm thankful for the ones who can do that. But what I'm trying to say, one century ago the majority of people did that daily. If you ever are driving down a road and see someone giving CPR to a deer that was hit by a vehicle, that would be me. Violence is witnessed daily depending on what decade you were born. I think I was born in the right decade and century. Thank God.

PS. I watched some of faces of death and when the woman cut off the chickens head and the body took off running...so did I. I ran to the bathroom as fast as I could but ended up puking all over the hallway wall.

I feel like a lot of people in the gore scene totally miss the mark and completely fail to understand the difference between violence being enjoyed by the masses and violence being enjoyed in general.

For the masses it's usually enjoyed if the violence is being used against the "bad". In the gore scene people enjoy violence overall. It looks like a cheap and hypocritical copout, to finger point towards the masses and say "see, everyone enjoys watching violence".

There is a huge difference. Which is why general audiences are usually appalled by using brutality sheer randomly against people who did nothing wrong.

This is also why the gore scene is a NICHE and not mainstream. Because most people can differentiate between fictional and real violence. Real violence is appealing to most, fictional violence often gets a motive.

There is no high iq point about the role of violence within our society, it's just a laughably bad attempt by a low iq film producer to justify his movie and what I suspect, an attempt to white wash some of the underlying guilt he feels, caused by the movies he enjoys watching

I have to admit that real gore and violence videos appear to be the worst of the worst and watching most regular horror movies is kinda of walk in the park compared to real videos of Mexican cartel stuff, accidents, suicides etc.

You know society has always viewed extreme violence as entertainment. Even before the internet. The Roman empire for instance they used gladiator battles as a form of entertainment. Not to mention the hangings, guillotine beheadings, and the electric chair 😅
