whats the best place to sourse a GE motor? i am looking to sway a 2J in my 74 nova? also what trans would work just looking to cruise it, shooting for around 400HP.
ОтветитьJust bought a 2jz ge for 1300. I have it on a stand in my bathroom and I'm slowly converting it to a gte
ОтветитьI've got a 98 SC300 Lexus, how do i determined if my eng. is a VVTi or a non-V? because my engine also doesn't have a distributor on the side...😂🤣
ОтветитьJust like that.... Damn Cool⭐💯
ОтветитьWhat about a 2jz ge vvti
ОтветитьMotor mount
ОтветитьHere before the ge goes up
ОтветитьWhat happened to this motor did it get installed in a car i wanted to see it running lol
ОтветитьConverting ge to gte will require an new ecu, if you are going to use any aftermarket such as haltech, motec, fueltech I believe the crank trigger, u wont need an cam trigger
ОтветитьCan we use prp trigger kit, like rb
ОтветитьSick video and inspiration but, can anyone provide me with the cost and how much it would be to complete the conversion. I can’t imagine the cam sensor would be the only thing I would need to convert a ge to a gte…. Any feedback would be nice and appreciated 💯👍

ОтветитьI have a 02 is300 vvti and it's a ge and I have a can sensor I'm not sure why
Ответитьi found a pair of stock 2jzgte rods for 30k what do you mean cheap? i found some used gte rods for like 2300 and those dont include bolts or pistons from the gte. theres no way you can make a 2jzge into a 2jzGTE for cheaper. just get a gte from the get go or just dont get one at all
ОтветитьWhat gas u use
ОтветитьHello I know this is an old video so I might not get a reply. But wouldn't just running the batch injection fix that issue? It really doesnt give us any preformance uprades to run sequential because its low end only. Mostly for fuel economy. Or is this simply to claim you have a gte and not to gain power?
Ответитьhow much power would this handle?
ОтветитьWhich car did this go into
ОтветитьIs it possible to link the stuff that's needed in your video as a highlighted comment?
ОтветитьCan u just swap the heads??
Ответитьid rather spend the extra 10k
ОтветитьNice work! Does anyone know where i can buy those gold washer and bolts used on the valve covers ? :)
Ответитьgreat tutorial man i have a question. i bought the BC 264 cams. and they have those tabs but im experiencing two problems. on the intake side when the cam is on the timing mark the tab for that sensor is aiming straight down and so i have no idea how to go about that.
Secondly it looks like on my cams is a bit further towards the middle of the head and theres even more obstruction in the casting and its closer to a bolt for the intake manifold so im worried that it will obstruct the bolt or possibly actually hit it.
Now on the exhaust side it looks like it would line up properly but im concerned about it getting really hot and melting being so close to the turbo manifold. do you think its doable on the exhaust side ?
Question how much would this project cost around?
Ответить2jz Holley terminator x?
ОтветитьNice work Alberto! Appreciate your time and effort in producing these videos for us.
Tip: Instead of welding, use aluminum or teflon spacer cut to proper width to keep sensor away from camshaft. Drill 2 holes and thread them to attach bung to cylinder head with bolts and a proper paper/rubber gasket. Seal around bung inside the head to prevent any oil from leaking through bung hole to outside of head.
Bro was such a dick to poor marko like the whole video lmao
ОтветитьIf you do not use the timing belt and turn the crankshaft, the piston will get stuck in the valve?
ОтветитьYou don’t actually have to change to gte cams you can use any of the cam nubs on the ge cams as if your standalone ecu u can tell the ecu where the pick up is reactive to tdc
ОтветитьAre you running the stock ge ecu or you have a gte ecu???
ОтветитьUmmm...🤔...ok ..
So can I make my Lexus is300 as fast as a Supra doing this? LOL...
How much is it going to cost me?
Looks really hard to do and looks like it's very easy to make a mistake...
no vdio
ОтветитьBro i really appreciate you sharing this content. I have a 1992 sc300 2jz non vvti and i just sent it to tbe shop. Going to ask them to help me.
ОтветитьWhat brand are those covers ?
ОтветитьLz looks like a little French boy and is bisexual
ОтветитьWhere can I contact u for a motor build
ОтветитьWhen will you have these adapters in stock?
ОтветитьThank you so much for making this video and explaining it all so simply
ОтветитьBigboost I'm looking for info on turboing vvti ge engine and a walk through vid on steps to do this might help not only me but any gs300 owners. If you could help that would be great, thanks
ОтветитьSome people don’t belong in the garage 🤣😂☠️ “ I’m gonna die”
ОтветитьThank you I did learn something new today.
ОтветитьI love it it’s just a lot of work 😢
Ответитьis it true the vvti ge already has the cam trigger sensor?
ОтветитьHow much do you charge to pout a 2JZ GTE engine into a Nissan 300zx
ОтветитьIs it a lack of both a cam and crank sensor? Or just cam sensor?
ОтветитьHey how you doing.? I have a 2jzgte non VVTi that's been seized because of water and been seating for 2 or more years with water in the cylinders. Do you think motor is not good anymore? I'm in NY I want to rebuild the engine but i just started taking the engine of the car. I see rust build up on the cam lobes. Just surface rust.! And in the head cavities as well. Valves are stuck. And crank doesn't turn at all.
ОтветитьBro you could have just put a hall sensor on the cam cover.
Ответить"Non vvti 2jz ge"
ОтветитьWhat are you going to do about the intake?
ОтветитьWhich reluctor wheel dis you use?
