I know this is an old video- but I bought Ark 1 years ago, and could never get it working on my DAW. I'm coming back to it now with a better understanding of how all of this works, and I've very excited to finish downloading and get it together. Thanks!

What's the next best library where you CAN compose per instrument? There's something about patching that makes me feel like it would limit my compositions rather than expand them.

Hey, would you say Metropolis Ark 1 could work well together with Jaeger? So far Jaeger is my go to-library, but sometimes I miss a little brunt in its sound. You're absolutely right about that the samples are pretty well defined but i think they could use a little more punch in the face. So i 'm about to get my hands on Ark 1 for a loud and rich base and intend to maybe bring out the main points by combining it with JAEGER.

One issue I seem to have with this library as I cannot make anything sync. How would I go about doing that? Every time I try to do a crescendo, it does not sync automatically.

Too rich for my blood. I have a lot of libraries after a while they all sound the same especially strings. Programming has become a little easier. Something like East west have a lot of old libraries. Spitfires Abby road because of that room sounds better then most out there. But that’s my take

I just got this for free after putting in time as a judge on a composing contest... I feel fortunate. Yes... I made them the same offer. They strike me as the elitist of the VI companies. I guess when your product is proverbial crack... You can be that. Looking forward to the download being complete. 70 gigs... wow.

I like that you can buy individual instruments. The low strings and trombone are the most epic parts to my ear. Layered on top of a lower priced and more subtle full section library they really shine.
