Spell crafting can be a système, if it get an antiquities style or a feature like when they added the psijiic skill line me im kind of hoping we get a class and harder overland content, and im sure they will work on the reward system in "quality of life improuvement"

For me what would be the best for spell crafting is if its a system like antiquities and they merge with the mythique item. They add a slot reserve for the mythique and on that mythique you add a buff/effect and its the spell crafting. It can be has crazy has u put an heal buff on a pale order ex: whenever you heal urself you create a wave of healing that heals ur alies around you (and with the pale order ring, you heal non stop) and that spell you will have to find threw leads and you discover it in a book shelf half destoy in a cript lets say (its an exemple) but it can be so manu other thing, i am having a new idea everyday about what spell crafting could be

Best be the year of fixing the servers before anything else

It'll be more op gear with a dlc to entice people to buy it, being nerfed shortly after. It's a never ending cycle for this game.

They gonna spend the whole year trying to patch performance and when it gets somehow tolerable this new “system” gonna wreck the servers and make it unplayable. Go ahead and save this reply

We need
- endless wave modes and more enemy mobs
- new class and class weapons and class spammable
Reworks.
- spell crafting
- rework sets so their are more options then the meta.
- server fix like seriously!!!
We don’t need more quest or new zones atm just add more modes and add more weaker enemies running at us.

At first I was thinking we'd get a new class. Now I'm leaning more toward spellcrafting. I mean, they WERE going to put it in years ago and just never did, for some reason? Seems like a good time to add it. Also I agree with you that pets are innocent. You know what causes my game to lag? Players dueling, casting spells, and racing at mach speeds through already densely populated areas (undaunted camps, usually). Irritating as hell, but I do enjoy the occasional glitch of players running on their mounts or sliding on their butts along the ground.

I won't play until ESO has a open trading market. I played for so long and was finally fed up with the guild trading. If I find a cool item, I want to sell the item on the market without joining a guild that also has a trader. This one and only thing about the game completely ruins it for me.

2023 will be a year of patience for the players, it likely will not be a good year, neither will it be a bad year. I actually assume that player numbers will stay relatively the same.

We got told again and again what a complex beast of code this game is. So for real improvements, this would mean a massive amount of work. But it seems in todays gaming economy, you don't just want some profits, you want to reap in the big money. ESO just won't do this for what kind of game it is and the reputation it already has.

In regards of "content", ESO will continue to be a nice game for those that already enjoy it, possibly even less so for newcomers and players that enjoy challenging group activities. That reason is twofold actually: ESO will get bloated even more and there will be more options to play, including new MMORPG's.

So I don't think the general more casually oriented player will have to worry about the game, especially not if he has some friends to play with. For the others, it really depends on what they still want to do in the game and if there are people that will be continuing this journey with them.

I'd really like to see ESO drop the price on their content to the point that it doesn't cost a small fortune to buy something. I really do enjoy your videos though, very informative.

Woot!! Almost to 10k!!! Have to be honest on this one, the bait & switch tactic used with Oakensoul as well as the awful class changes/light attack nerf Update 35 brought was what has driven a Very Large portion of the tenured, longterm population away from ESO. The card game didnt help matters, but oakensoul brought people BACK to the game (card game was live at the time) The amount of people that could actually play the game efficiently and do things they had never done before(not to mention loads of IRL handicapped people on reddit and other sites praising Oakensoul)because of this ring.. was substantial and for this company to do what they did is inexcusable. That being said I think we all appreciate your optimism and look forward to your videos.

I think ESO is due for a mild reboot because of its age. I also think ESO has some interesting changes coming our way in 2023, so this can be a good thing or bad thing, only time will tell. Number one issue for me is the PvP community. If the PvP community is given some well deserved love, it would make the game in whole a much better balance of game play and FUN! I am not a PvP player, mostly PvE, however I would like to give PvP another shot this year at some point and work on my achievements related to PvP. I tried to play PvP in the past, but the performance was terrible, and I am running a high end system on the PC platform.

Combat in ESO for me is one of the best and fastest systems of any MMO I have played over the years. Thanks Jakeclips for your work, I enjoyed it.

Idk, I’ve been having fun after returning from a long break. Lots of content, i like the solo heavy builds as I’m able to do a lot of content I wasn’t able to before (dungeons, WB, arenas). PvP is fun and I love the antiquities system. I’m eager to see what this year brings.

I think the new system is going to be PVP related, PVP hasn't had any love for a long time.
I suspect they may mothball/retire Cyrodiil and the 3 Banners War and replace it with a smaller instanced map based PVP system, something akin to the Outpost Rushes in New World.

I've been playing since beta and I feel that this game is having a slow death.

yeah a new class i DONT WANT. its the 1 piece of content ill never touch. i like my 1 main character, I dont want more skill lines locked behind grinding up an entirely new character. i really hate the class system we have, and wish it was more like elder scrolls where you can pick any skill lines. hopefully the new system will be spell crafting, and new feature will be veteran overland content so we arent all facerolling every npc

Was the multi rider mount a success? I've never actually seen it in the game.

PVP needs some love and I don't even play PVP.

I think 2023 will be better because I think ZOS has seen the light and I am expecting a new class (going out on a limb too). Other MMOs have added classes and races within the last few years but ESO hasn't.

I honestly think, that if card game would be on mobile devices and synchronized with your in game account, way ore people would play it. it's a fun game but it's boring in mmo space, no chat, no ppl interaction, but if it would be on phones I would play it while I'm away from home
