Fallout Guide - How TF To Play Fallout 1

Thank you so much, this game is great but it's not very intuitive. I'm finally exploring the wasteland and not just getting my ass kicked by random encounters.

Literally this game is easy, i only die 999,999 times in the beginning.

this is just what we were looking for.
the first fallout game I played was fallout 2. I've played every release since. (with the exception of 76 because I'm burned out on mmos)
Fallout 2 holds a very special place in my heart and I was so thrilled to see that fallout 1 is basically the same game. However, I was a tad frustrated in the beginning as the first game is missing the "improvements" that fallout 2 got. Your video absolutely hit every one of them on the head!

So the way charisma is described in the game I either didnt understand it or its misleading. I tought I need charisma but instead i think luck wpuld work better for me. Will watch again. Thanks for vid.

Had to figure out how to play this, I just got to the hub, but at the start of the game I wasted my time traveling cause I couldn’t figure out how to go to another area so now I have like 83 days so we will see, also accidentally named my character none because I entered the name elsewhere and thought was fine

Playing this is unbearable, constantly looking up guides on how to progress the story missions. Someone just remake it.

Took me 3 attempts to get into these games but once it clicked with me I was hooked just tried not to get frustrated too early and kept trying and learning from my mistakes and I love these games now

In my opinion, quick pockets is not only a great early game perk, but one of the best perks in the whole game. For 2 AP it allows you to reload, heal and swap weapons all you want. The utility is crazy good

This game is fucking trash. Sorry ass poorly developed boring memory error tedious game. Fallout has always been bad and boring, the only surprise is new vegas yet that thing also lacks in many aspects.

fallout. the most ultimate build to me is small guns, energy weapons and speech. though it is a bit tricky with skilldex. for example you don't need thief as much, with 20 steal you can loot shotgun shells and stimpaks from the hub and it's pretty much all you need. you can use some science and repair, books are expensive. but you would also resign from the small guns pretty fast. the energy weapons are the best in this game. you can use outdoorsman cause then you will not meet as many super mutants. but if you find alien blaster it doesn't matter a lot. the game is coherent. you can get quests easy, so i'm not sure if speech is even as much needed as in fallout 2. enjoy it then

This is very helpful to try and play Fallout 1, to most newer fans it's quite daunting.

The first mouse in the game killed me because my character missed every single attack on it. It said I had a 46% chance to hit it but that was clearly a lie

I don't see the reason to boost IN up to 9. 6 is more than enough. It's better to use these for EN. The more EN the more HP per level granted. It saves from random enemy crits more often.
It's ironical that sniper perk is useless for a literally sniper (a build using aimed shots) because he aims at a target eyes and it's almost 100% crit even with the lowest luck value. Sniper is a perk for a burst mode build or rocket launchers, or flamethrowers. The build with a fast shot trait.
Also I didn't understand why to use more criticals in the sniper perk build. When a 10 luck character takes sniper perk it makes more criticals perk useless.
Other than that a very good manual for those who unfamiliar with the roots of the universe.

pro tip pickpocket is one of the most broken skills in this game, the more you steal at once the more xp ypu get and to make it eaven easier npc have ton of good stuf which can make you loaded. the guard in frond of killain house in junktown has a leathar armor it's hard to steal but possible.

Im confused. I didnt have enough SPECIAL points to follow your suggested build. Why do you have so many more to work with?

The character build doesn't work be you don't have enough character points

Consistently Pray for forgiveness, guidance in a good (positive) direction, and for help against evil. Pray to be saved from hell  (whatever that may be). Pray for your friends and your family too, it only takes a minute or so/less at a time to pray. Do it and your life will slowly get better, or maybe quickly. It probably just depends on you and the kind of person you are/have been. Don't wait until its too late and you have to suffer the consequences of built up bad karma from immoral acts/unrepented sins. Maybe together we can help make the world a better place by changing ourselves for the better, and changing things around us for the better.
And addressing/thanking the CREATOR, LORD GOD at the beginning and end of your prayers would be a good idea 😊
