Volvo V40 Service Reset Maintenance Due Warning Message Reset

It doesn't work for me Volvo V40 2016 Ocean Race 2.0 Diesel, anyone can help me out, please ?

does the maintenance message make the check engine light come on or did clearing the message also clear whatever faut you had 😄
