By placing the fan this way, the air will flow into the pi instead of blowing it outside.

Went back to my light canakit plastic and official case for my 8gb for portability after a year of running an ice cooler. Shim fan with a 2200 over clock 8 over voltage I sit comfortably at 50

Unfortunately I think you have the fan backwards. Airflow moves toward the logo, and the side that looks like a frito chip scoop is the intake.

Blowing air out of the case (logo facing OUT) should be more effective in order to radiate heat.

Those fans are terrible - hey fail often and the noise they make. There are much better solutions which are fully passive with similar performance.

I USE 52PI. Tower cooler. I max out processor to (2,000). Bench test is coolest over any other cooling option available!

Most of us use a more expensive a case that will passively cool the Pi4 without the need for a fan. While a good case like that will be double the price (at least), it's the preferred method for any home tinkerer.
