The Simulation Crew - Hy5's prosthetic hand in VR

Practicing with Hy5's prosthetic hand in VR requires a virtual version of this prosthesis. In the video below, you can see the animated MyHand 1 inside a virtual environment. How cool is that?

By making use of sensors, upper limb prosthetic users can control this hand. Users can practise moving this hand in our VR-simulation. This results in making it easier to use the prosthesis in real life. We aim to make this VR simulation as realistic as possible so that the users will experience a life-like feeling when using their prosthesis within VR.
