ОтветитьYour so true all the way I am there now
ОтветитьI was in the same position as you - something needed to change and while quitting my 9-5 was the hardest decision I had to make, I'm so much happier now. Everything that you mentioned resonated with me and is so inspiring! Good luck Hannah!
ОтветитьTHIIIIISSS!!
ОтветитьYou lost all energy at 22? I’m sorry. I’m 51. Same career and same office since I was 22. Brutal work, but I’m more motivated now than ever.
ОтветитьWash your spinach/salad, don’t trust that it’s been “prewashed” 😤🫠
Ответитьi followed my dreams, nothing worked out....at this moment i pretty much gave up in life and honestly still living cause my son needs me
Ответитьhawney
ОтветитьIt's scary but peaceful
ОтветитьToo little responsibility. That's what happens when young people are too focused on improving themselves rather than take on responsibilities like having a family to care for.
ОтветитьI'm quitting my job because of my condescending, insensitive boss. Of course, I have to email her (not approach that intimidating bítch) about why I'm leaving. She'll need an explanation. I'm thinking I have to tell her that I'm leaving the job so that I can emotionally restore myself and find other things I might be good at. That I might even be able to do tasks alone without someone to "guide" me, a word she has used about me in a belittling manner. She doesn't believe in me. I want her to get the hint that she has wrecked my confidence and pushed me to leave. Would anyone be interested in reading my practice email, if I post it here?
Ответитьyou are amazing, keep it up!
ОтветитьDon't worry dear, a man will save you.
ОтветитьThis is a small thing, but if you're going to do this professionally, you might want to focus on reducing the use of "literally". I saw a video of myself speaking, and I am striving to reduce my use of "umm".
ОтветитьOhh yeah
ОтветитьOmg...that was disgusting
ОтветитьMe after 17 years i fn quit I have hbp and health issue no job is worth ur health
ОтветитьI want to quit so bad it’s not my job it’s my lazy leadership team
ОтветитьThis video really spoke to me. I also stopped doing makeup and stopped dressing up. I felt like I was the only one who felt like that until I saw this video. Thank you!
ОтветитьI just quit my job, with no savings but I know I need change in my life. I need new experiences & grow.
Ответитьi feel you so so much, i'm currently on my third 9-5 job in a year, all because all my previous ones ended up being really stressful and with me having anxiety and crying before going to work (apparently things has not changed...). i feel like you since a year, and i'm seriously thinking about quitting anything too, i've lost my sparkle i know that who i am now it's not who i really am and it's painful. Besides everything anyway, I have stuff to pay each month, i'm feeling caged by this and would really know how to be free.
ОтветитьYour title said you had no backup plan but the backup plan was doing something different from a 9-5. I respect your courage to quit and follow your passion ❤💥
ОтветитьYou earned a new subbie 😊
ОтветитьCan you share more on the contract work, what do you do thats not 9-5 thats helps you enough to cover bills
ОтветитьI’m 20 and feeling unhappy working at a call center for a year now. I needed to hear this
ОтветитьDamn this is so me.
ОтветитьThank you beautiful!
I needed to hear this I’m currently so unhappy unfulfilled and just generally miserable with my life right now working 9-5 as a bank teller!
No girl, you are not the only one! Thank you for putting out this video. We all are 100% replaceable at our jobs! I currently still work my 9-5, but I’m grateful to be in the position to walk away in a couple years. My good friend is teaching me how to build an ongoing residual income asset outside of my job and so far I got debt free! Time and money is what I crave and there’s only so many things we can do to achieve it!
ОтветитьI’m 26 & this is so inspiring. I’ve been thinking about quitting my 9-5 for a long time and this is what I needed
Ответитьsame here girl i worked in 7 different companies and now i think i cant stuck in this trap this is traaaaaaaaaaaaaaaap you know what i got lots of mail messegs to koin new companies but now i told them sorry i am not looking for new role now when i thing to go to job agian i was like hell no i cant tx for the video
ОтветитьYou’re definitely not alone in this feeling. Hope all the best for you in your journey of figuring this strange world out!
ОтветитьI was 27 Yes Destroyed witz Pad people in Jobs and this has ruined my Life because of HR failure
ОтветитьLoved this video and I really needed to hear it.
ОтветитьI felt the same way.
Ответитьyayy, you go grrl! happy to follow you on your journey. i do want to add something to the privilege thing tho, I know its sometimes hard to see or accept because - as you say - you worked hard for what you have built for yoursellf, but priviledge also lies within being able to have/find work or even being physically/bodily able to work:) or there are also big differences in stuff like how you are perceived [pretty & skinny privilege for example or wether you are cis or trans or wether you are being racialized or not]
wish you all the best on your path!
Did this as well girl, i feel so much better mentally
Ответитьgirl I could 100% relate to you on this. I also quit my 9-5 job without no backup plan... but mainly quit because my boss was being a creep towards me. I commend you so much for also making this type of decision because I know it isn't easy. It is really nice to see a video like this because it makes me feel like I am not the only one who felt this way.
ОтветитьYes, yes. Yes!!!!! Congratulations and good luck!!!! Do for you!!
There’s so much on line to do with setting your own life schedule!!!
I’m doing it after 15 yrs in Corp!!
Great video Hannah, loved the quote from the pursuit of happiness and this video. It takes a lot of courage for sure to just quit something stable and trying to do what you want to do. And yes a lot of others feel the same way you feel, that's what I remind myself as well. Also 100% agree with the sentiment of if you like your 9-5 then there's no need to quit but if you don't then you definitely have to reassess. Nothing is worth your health and well being!
ОтветитьI am like you you now honey! I resigned 3 months ago. It takes almost one month that I can handle it and go back to my routine, So now I'm proud of myself because of making big risk for following my passion. Please wish me luck to deal with it.
ОтветитьI’m 19, coming up to 2 months in my first ever job and it’s 9-5. It is definitely soul sucking at times but I’m just going to use this period of my life to save as much as I can. I spent nearly 2 years of my life job seeking and I can’t do that again. The most I’ll stay at this job is 6 months if I really can’t do it and the longest probably 2 years just to make up for that time I didn’t have a job.
ОтветитьI am doing the same exact thing as you right now. When you’re going through hell, keep going.
ОтветитьThank you! You are the truth girl! So well spoken and I love the confidence. Keep doin yo thang! You just gained you a new sub💕💞💓💗 I see that you're slept on! These views and subs and likes are hella gonna multiply this year! You totally inspire me to start my channel, its always been a dream of mine. Look at you go!! And I can really relate to you and what you were saying in this video.
I've never listened to when people thought I was crazy for looking out for ME and going after not only what I want, but also what I NEED. In high school I went to an art school that was considered the 2nd best school in the city. I was going there for theatre and the environment was so competitive. I never felt like I belonged, outside of my few friends and a school bestie. The teachers were hella racist too AND I was also having to go through an abusive relationship with some guy that went there. Even when I tried, I couldn't learn because of the one way teaching style. By the time I was in 10th grade all I cared about was skipping school to go be in nature, smoke weed, and shoplift. I barely even knew myself and I was failing everything, almost got expelled. After some counseling I realized I had to leave the school and was presented with the option to go to a project based learning school where I could learn academics through focusing on projects like acting, sewing, gardening, music, etc. This option lit my world up and I already made my mind up about switching to the school. My unsupportive mom had to be supportive of me making the change if she wanted me to actually live and go to school lol! I literally had to manifest that shit!! Everybody looked down on me because the school I wanted to go to is a continuation school, a.k.a "one of the worst schools in the city" and nobody believed in me. I'm 20 years old now. Graduated high school on time, and I even have my own apartment. From graduating high school to where I am now is a long story, but I can confidently say that going to that continuation school changed my life for the absolute better and got me where I am today... Not even I thought it would've gotten me this far. But I really have to thank my angels and God.
The stuff you're speaking on is true and very real and you might have your downs, but those will come with many blessings and ups. Always stay true to yourself no matter what and you will attract everything that is for you.
im saving up and finna quit by end of the year!
ОтветитьI don’t know what to do if I quit!!! I need to pay bills but I can NOT do this any longer. I’m 21 and my job is giving me damaging mental health and physical problems!
ОтветитьI had a full time job for only a year after college and I hated my life so I quit. Now I work as a barista and it’s so much more fulfilling and I really don’t care if I’m not putting my degree to use because I’m much happier!
