I really don't like the tripple monitor setups. Seeing the frame borders would annoy the hell out of me, i prefer just one monitor.

I'm working on upgrading from a playseat to a track racer by the end of the year. The. I'll look into getting a curved G9.

eh, i think using trackIR would be more cost efficient for me with a 27" monitor...i do want to buy an ultrawide but only the crap g34wqc and xiaomi mi34 is available in my country

I like 32" 3 X 1440 @ 240 FPS monitors so you can see the right mirror
Ultrawide makes no sense to me, just 1 game F1 gives you trouble

I use the Samsung Odyssey G5 32" curved (not ultrawide) for my racing on XBOX SERIES X. a review of monitors for console would be a great follow up to this video if you should think it a benefit to those like me who only game on console. Great video. 👍

60" 4K HDR 100Hz television is my choice of screen. Has a similar horizontal FOV as a 49" ultrawide but adds in a lot of vertical FOV as well.

what if you put 2 more flat screens one one left side and one on right side more like a car

Triple 55 4k tv with high refresh rate is the best solution, if you got a solid good space, otherwise triple 32 2k monitors with high refresh rate is the best experience you can get from, VR headset aside.
For VR racing you need a VR headset with high resolution per eye and good ppd, HP Reverb G2 is the best one with due to its decent price and high resolution, ofc the Varjo Aero is another optional choice if you hv enough budget for that.
I myself upgraded from triple 27s to triple 32s in like 6months, then finally got my triple 55 tv for sim racing, only for a week tho, cuz I got G2 VR headset and it's a no going back to me, so I already sold my triple setup. Tbh, VR not only gives you the most immersion you can ever get but also saves you loads of space.

I am using a TV currently, as well as a Thrustmaster T80 - Ferrari 488 GTB Edition on a desk, a lawn chair and a PS4 this is all on my budget. I am hoping to switch over to a more advanced Sim Rig, and iRacing to start a new life into Sim Racing. But for now, I am sticking with my low budget setup and save up to get that dream rig I want.

I got the Samsung C49J890DKE monitor for around 700 USD. it's 144 MHz, you guys need to check it out.

I used triples and went back to a single as I found I never really used them as your focus is always in front. Stick to single or single ultawide if you can afford it. I use 1440p too. Much better experience than triple 1080p.

Another pro tip I’d have if you’re by chance thinking of getting 3 21:9 ultrawides and running an awesome triple monitor setup, I’d suggest looking at getting 3 32” monitors instead as you’ll actually have more screen real estate but will usually save a lot more money.

For example, 3 Samsung 34” G5’s cost $1,800 right now, however 3 Samsung 32” G5’s cost $1,110, that’s quite a hefty amount of savings.

I really love it and it's super immersive, but unfortunately not all games are currently available in VR.

I might consider at some point in the future to get triple monitor setup.

Instead of the Predator Z35P, you could go for the Viotek GNV34DBE, which has the same features with a much lower price, or the GNV29CB if you are fine with a slightly smaller screen.

Hi Dave. You have me sold on triple monitors. Currently I am only on PS5 Console with CSL Elite. I am ready to buy a pc but would you upgrade to a fanatec podium first or buy a pc with triple screen set up? You opinion and insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I would recommend the Samsung C49HG90DMU as for a most bang for bucks choice. It's 49" ultrawide, 1080p which is fine for racing, 144Hz refresh rate. All for around € 750,--. I'm using this screen since 2019 and I'm very pleased with this setup.
