Tip number 2 is probably the best thing I have seen anyone mention ever. I have a friend I play with who is a ex colligate pro who played for his university and that was the number one thing he said most people had to re learn about roaming. Its all about wasting time and running down the clock. Less time on the clock means a higher chance of the attackers making mistakes and forcing themselves into poor positions to force a win instead of the freedom of lets say opening the vert on Kafe kitchen forcing anyone playing on site to move and then they in turn get free kills. Especially considering being down a player or even a player on defense is MUCH worse than on attack since at the end of the day two guys can easily take one bomb site while two will struggle to defend two of them.

don't let anyone fool you, blackbeard is a good operator for low ranked players it prevents you from getting 1 tapped by dumb angles like in this video so he is great for ranking up

I main castle, kapkan, and kaid normally on defense. Win 60-70 percent of my defense rounds with them in plat at the moment. I kinda struggle on attack but I think I need to drone a bit more and play better when I’m on ying. Gotta use my smokes to cut off angles or flashing myself in

i play on xbox and i have a friend who’s not that smart when it comes to game sense but his aim is cracked and my aim isn’t bad but nothing special, i start most rounds on attack droning him in to where i want to go above or below site cus i know he’ll win the gunfight 9/10 times. When people are roaming and they see a drone there’s a 3/4 second period where they realise they’re exposed and they think about where to sit, where to run or what to peak and in that time is the best time for ur friend to follow ur drone and peak them cus they’ll catch them running away or rotating

i know i’d get used to it eventually but i’m so used to friendly gadgets being blue and enemy red that it would take a while to get used to it and i’d be looking at things in game wondering if it’s against me or not, like if brava makes a valk cam friendly and it’s blue but it’s actually against me it would fw my head, also those red stairs are a unique scenario cus there’s also blue stares in some maps
