The information presented here is better than any other sixties documentary i've ever seen. Every other documentary seems like a government approved fabrication of what really happened. I wish I had been taught history correctly as its presented here.

Going to watch this today and compare the events with the conflict in Gaza. Should be interesting.

The problem is that mobilizing against the Vietnam war and trying to change a system of political economy that is built on militarism and imperialism and the so called "liberal" warfare state are two very different things. The activism against Vietnam was successful but the more profound challenge to the war machinery and the fascistic imperialistic dehumanized hypnotized mechanized commoditized death culture was never mainstream normalized and embraced by centrist moderate reasonable and sensible middle america and its idealistic visionary, revolutionary agenda, (affirmatively pro peace and not only negatively anti war) that also challenged the capture and corruption of democracy by the cold war liberal hawks and political establishment was rejected, even violently repressed and crushed by a knee jerk excessive reactionary deliberate cynical exploitation stimulation of a false narrative irrational response, out of confusion and fear of communism, chaos, instability lawless criminality and immoral destructive anarchy.
