I used to do this with hotmail, though for some time it doesn't work anymore. The message gets bounce back, sometimes it takes a day. It has failed for me for multiple phone numbers/carriers.

I know this post is a few years old....But you just saved me! I'm a 64 year old grandma living alone in the country at least 1 hour away from my sons. I had placed my purse and bag on the truck seat, ran back in to the house to grab something else, and accidently hit the door lock and thought I gently pushed the door back to get by -- it shut and was locked.

My cell and the keys were in the truck in the garage. The truck is often shared as a spare vehicle when another one is in the shop... that's what this situation is. The spare was at my son's house. I was able to email text them because of your video!!! Thank you so very much!

What do you type in google to get the carrier codes? Can’t find them anywhere?
