It seems their are too many steps vs booleons.
Ответитьalmost what im looking for superb .. just one thing i need three (circles) spread evenly around (120 deg) and they need to be a specific size how do i measure them for diameter ?
ОтветитьHere's a like. Very helpful video!
Ответитьnot very good tutorial
ОтветитьJosh, dude, you're my 3d-superhero!
Three weeks ago I started learning Blender from absolute zero and now I have managed in making basic things! Thank you, man!!!
damn it works very well
thanks
hey nice video :)
Ответитьgracias,sos un genio
ОтветитьPlease my boolean modifier is not working it said is disabled can you help me enable it please
ОтветитьHey thanks Josh, I know this video is old but... wow talk about life changer only quesiton I have is i ended up with an Ngon but it had no effect on the mesh why is that?
Ответить3 years ago and what an amazsing tutorial, is there a new method though?
Ответитьwhat freaking imbecile made this stupid program??? OMG!! like, how the FUUUUK did you "pull the circle out????" Out of where?? im clicking on the same area as you and NOTHING IS PULLING OUT!! I HATE THIS PROGRAM!
ОтветитьFor F... sake. I was doing it wrong all the time. That is so much better. Thanks Josh! Liked and subbed.
ОтветитьIs there a strategy for making sure all the points in a face stay coplanar with each other? I feel like that's always been my greatest struggle when trying to do more complex shapes. It seems like that's not the case for either method here, but I'm not sure if you're doing something special when you grab vertices to constrain their movement.
ОтветитьThx bro, you save me lots of time.
ОтветитьHi i need a little bit of help, When i went to delete the faces in the cylinder after i did the circle no longer stayed shrinkrapped to the cylinder. I couldent find a solution so could anyone tell me what i did wrong?
ОтветитьYou got my like. I've being doing this wrong for a while already
Ответитьis there no way to do subtractive join on the objects?
Ответитьcan u make a vid on blender 3.5
ОтветитьMe, simply subdividing and using the loop tool for a circle, and then using that to make an extruding cyclinder/circle
ОтветитьThank you very much!
ОтветитьI struggle with the lock of the circle and shrink-wrap on an axis... does it have to be on an axis and I have to move my model? I tried it with another axis but it didnt work
ОтветитьI'm starting a personal playlist for blender workflows, and this is the first video I'm putting in it. Thanks.
Ответитьwould you recommend boxcutter?
ОтветитьIt’s so difficult to simply do this! I don’t think I’Il ever be using blender
ОтветитьThis 3 year old video just taught me like 70 different things about blender I should’ve known for years!
ОтветитьHow did you rotate it 90 degrees in 1 hit so quickly at 32 degrees? I can't work out how you did it so quickly. Edit Mode>type R>...but how did you make it 90 degrees in 1 hit? You didn't seem to type 90C into the Transform box...you seemed to have done it with your mouse only, what's the trick? It seems liked one swipe.
ОтветитьWow, that’s easier than I thought.
ОтветитьGreat tutorial! Much appreciated
ОтветитьFun tip with the bad round edge, instead of insetting you can actually press shift e to do an edge crease
ОтветитьLoop Tools is your friend.
Ответитьzamn 😍
Ответить'I came looking for copper and found gold' Thank you.
ОтветитьPressing F repeatedly to fill in extra bits is the thing that makes this feel so easy, thanks for the tip
ОтветитьAWESOME
ОтветитьNoob here. Very well explained. is there a way to wrap circles around the cylinder and offset them?
ОтветитьPretty 🙏🙏🙏 tq
ОтветитьYou can't just cut a hole in the curved surfaces.
ОтветитьI can see this method would be excellent to make eyelids for characters and creatures as well.
Ответить"Join these edges together with the j key..."
Jeeeez, the time I could havve saved knowing you can do that :D
the hole in the second cylinder doesnt go all the way into the cylinder. Its not a hole?
ОтветитьThanks Josh. That helps a lot
ОтветитьThe right way to shoot a hole into the surface of Mars
ОтветитьLoop tools is a great way
ОтветитьFeel like you made this way harder than it should be
Ответить
