Probably there are a lot of actions combined who take us to different endings or same endings.

Particularly i helped him at lowan snipering, but i also encountered him at the church, trying to kill me.
After that i was furious and wanted to kill him so bad, and actually did it, but somehow he stood up and faced me almost without strenght, thats when i had mercy on him and lowan came to kill him but i talked her out so that hakon could come out alive.

Probably im going to end with hakon alive in the end, maybe outside the city as pilgrim

You can actually save him now I mean on 27 March 2024 if you help hakkon when he gets shot by the arrow and then give the vnc tower to "Survivors" Faction you get the timer choice whether you kill him or stall time helping him to realise to turn into nightrunner again if you chose second to save him Lawan jumps in then another timed choice comes choosing whether to save hakkon or let Lawan kill hakkon

even if aiden or craine had fucking guns in their all weapon slots, they wouldn't prefer just to shoot them in the head like in gameplay, these would've ended faster

You want Choice help him for got best ending and you want choice leave him and makes hakon hates aiden

huh, seems the game glitched for me 3 times because every time i helped hakon after Lawan has show him but i always saved him. after i had to fight Hakon in the Church i nearly killed him, something i didn't want to do, then Lawan came to kill him i stopped her the nightrunners were back, Lawan got shot by Renegades in the X13, Hakon came to get her out of here, Lawan tricked Hakon and exploded the missiles, doing so she died

I didn’t know he took the GRE key, hmm I gotta redo this mission

Hakon was the only thing I liked about this game and wish he could have tagged along more with us. I understand why he did what he did. Also no homo hes good looking....

After the first church fight I dismembered Hakon out of spite, beacuase he betrayed me. I basically cut his body in half, cut out his arms and legs. Then when I tried to exit the church Hakon resapwns and try to fight me again, all in one piece. Proceeded to begead him this time. Was a fun bug.

Pretty crazy i killed the fuck out of Hakon. Basically blew off most of his limbs with a devastating drop kick and then he magically came back to life

In all seriousness, Hakon’s character was just relatively well written for the game. He was charismatic and consistent with how he was written.

The Lawan character, though, was way too unlikeable ….
The “I’m not like other girls, I’m very unique and strong because the writers think that’s what women want out of a female video game character” type of character that has been pushed into so many games anymore that may as well be the How to Ruin a Female Character in 10 Minutes or Less trope.

I don’t know what the original writer (Chris) intended for her in terms of the story involving her, but if his past work is anything to go by, I highly doubt she was meant to be written like this. Whoever took over, made her extremely unlikeable right out of the gate to where I didn’t care what Hakon did … I’d support him and stand by the dude.

Hakon is a loser.

Always wanted to kill him but if I did I couldn’t have saved Lawan.

I had modded weapons and killed him its funny cause I sliced his head leg and arm and came back to life to shoot me with a arrow at the door 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

I liked Hakon so I helped him, but in church cause of some kind bug he randomly died and I literally cut off his leg. I thought he was really dead and I waited there like 10 minutes then he came back that happiness was worth to whole game

I myself use the bow and kill even the volatiles easily, i don't know why people dont use it most but i love the bow

it all depends on more than one choice. You can get these events with different answers, also there is an ending where you say you dont want to fight him and he stops

What I found really odd is that when working with Hakon, he seemed to have his ways of getting things done. When he was acting suspicious by going and planting murder evidence I thought it was interesting, didn’t care that he was obviously the murderer you were looking for… but his connection to Waltz did make me really concerned, but I still left him alive because he was injured.

The main bit I wish would have played out was, when you go toe to toe with Waltz before the chase bit, when Lawan shoots him, Waltz seemed to recognise you, i wish you could simply try to get in contact with him, while holding the GRE key hostage.
Then you would have everything explained to you and you can ask Hakon to arrange to meet with Waltz instead of fighting you.

Just feels like, asking Waltz questions and having Hakon give you and guide you to things around it would skip… like… 70% of the game.

bruh i think something happened at my playtrough, i helped hakon and i still got to encounter him at the church

i blew his head off when i killed hakon then when i went to leave the church he was standing again

all that scene from the leave to die is all talking no jutsu HAHHAHAH
