Personally i disagree with dropping most of the palettes while I’m kiting because there are more survivors then just you and the hunter will most likely get annoyed and leave you alone and leave a teammate to kite but there will be no palettes..

For me a game changer was playing survivors that quite can't rely on their abilities (Psychologist, TM for example)
I was enchie main so I was relaying on her abilities almost all the time
But there was this even u got after you haven't been logging in for some time and I got psych
I started playing her
It was hard at the beginning bc her ability isn't very useful while kiting (except u can get an extra hit)
But I started to practice and now I'm much better when I kite
So if u can't stop using ability - try playing character which ability isn't very useable while kite :D

so when i am professor i have to listen for his/her attack

Another tip I use if u are kitting a lot of times I try to get a pallet hit but a lot of hunters will be able to hit u remember to be a little bit away from the pallet

I even fail at looking back- if I do, I run into things-

Me a hunter main: mmm interesting

Me: doesn't know some of those tips
Also me: kites the life out of the hunter
Also me: never knowing that I should predict a sculpture or a bonbon
Also me: uses them badly as enchantress and kites the entire game

I started Idv recently but came from dbd, honestly they’re both really good games, very different in some aspects and similar to others, but I really wish palette hitboxes worked more like dbd since idv palette drop hitboxes are whack lol

My issue is that from Pc looking back is almost impossibile...

For the pallet tip, my advise is to crouch behind the pallet, where the hunter can’t hit you. When they walk in, you can immediately stun them, but quickly switch to running.

As much as i have played (At this point like 100+ hours) at this point. Honestly these are so important it scares me.

looking back is a bit more risky for me as it affects the direction im going and even if i've played and memorized the map i tend to bonk into walls a lot just like irl lmao
though i hope to get better at this since hunters tend to find me regardless of what im doing and where tho while i already normally buy enough time for my team to get down to at least two ciphers- i still get caught most times lol

I cant kite in very tight places its too stressful to mindgame

I always make a wrong vault because I panic when I kite

Tysm, this helps a lot!!! Especially when I’m starting to main Emil rather then my old mains, it’s makes it easier to play him since he’s a kiting character!

I think this is not only helping me kite knowing this tips would make me good at being hunter too

The looking back thing is especially important with a Wu because if you’re far away from him the Wu will probably try to teleport to you so if you look back you can predict where he is gonna teleport and you can easily move the opposite direction and i know this cuz im a wu main and this has happened a lot to me and it’s very important when you’re kiting him

I hate that even if I know how to kite, I still die within seconds because of how my hands shake and get all sweaty when a hunter chases me (╯TvT )╯╧╧

One of reason why people don't use window cuz they can get terror shock smh...

An exception for the in front of the pallet thing is Emma, if you time her shield right you can have them hit you while standing in the pallet zone, wait for the animation to play and then pallet stun them.
