When is he leaving?

I can't believe he's leaving the show. I'll have no reason to watch it anymore.

Nine out of ten actors who leave the soaps end up coming back again.

I never ever enjoyed this story line. A & J were only two straight friends who occasionally kissed, and it was just too much crying and moaning and disaster and mental illness and accidents and death. I'm not saying that it was totally bad, at least acting was good, but I could not enjoy this since there was no balance.

Well when they do bring him (Aaron) back, then they need to do more work on developing another gay storyline. One that DOES NOT end in tragedy. It might be nice to see an older well adjusted Aaron who's accepted himself as a gay man and has a sensible relationship. okay writers? Nuff said!

I'm going to miss Pauline and Danny when they leave.Aaron still feels bad the way he acted and now he's trying to get closer to Hazel again.When Adam and Chas talk about meeting somebody new Aaron is so concerned about how Hazel's going to feel.They just need to be friends again.Hazel will probably say she knows how Aaron feels about Jackson,but he'd want you to move on find someone new.

It always seemed to me that there was something missing in Aaron's character. Not sure if it was in the writing or if it was Danny. Danny is a brilliant actor, but somehow it never really seemed like he quite got into the gay character. Plus it seemed as though there was little romance, little kissing, no hand holding, no playful antics even after Aaron had accepted his gay nature.

Danny's character is going nowhere. The problem is with the scriptwriters. Time to kill off Danny's character. Danny is much to good an actor to put up with this nonsense.

@daniberrieful Whilst I understand your comment - (IMO) this has become the major problem with the storyline. Danny Miller has become bigger/more important than the character he portrays - soaps should never be about the actor, they should be about the character. Let Danny move on and take his screaming entourage with him - recast the character and let those of us who find the character more important / interesting than the actor continue to have a character and a storyline to follow.

@frankduke2 I watch it in Jon´s other channel "EDepisodes". I´ve been doing it since June and the whole show is great. The best soap to me. Of course Aaron´s storylines these last 2 years will be difficult to top but I will keep watching. And maybe he´ll return in a couple of years, who knows

aaron often unconventional character. many things he had done. when the characters will be centered on the religious as well. sure it will be the hottest topic of this series.

I still think there was a lot of juicy fodder in the psycho analysis line that was completely over looked. It would have been great to see Aaron begin to really understand himself.

Seems like a lot of issues has not been resolved and just watching this episode the writers, IMO just gave up on trying. The characters seemed to go any which way with no direction. They were there just to be there. No purpose at all. I hope its not a permanent vacation for the characters Aaron and Hazel. It would be a crying shame.

he is coming back? right? aaron and hazel have such a complex multi-dimensional relationship and Danny and (actress who plays Hazel) perform it so well. They are subtle but the emotions are strong.

I am having serious Aaron withdrawal. How can the program have this really hot intense story line and then drop it cold for weeks at a time? Are the writers not talented enough to figure out a continuing story line.

Aaron withdrawals, story line needs to continue.

@Labyrinth1959 Emmerdale is on fire right now with the climax of one of the biggest storylines of the year. It involves almost every character minus Aaron (I suppose he was on the frontline for the past two years enough and the viewers "deserve" a break). Even Adam and Hazel are involved in this big storyline

@sanyrub I'm in America so I can't view Emmerdale. Can you give me some idea what this big story line is all about. I remember seeing something about an affair between Cain and Adam's mother. Is that what it is all about?

@Labyrinth1959 I´m in Spain and I can´t either but our Jon (kimbaforevaryanlamb) uploads the entire show in his other channel (EDepisodes). I´ve been following for months. The sl has been built for months. I hope this is not an spoiler in here. Cain has been brutally attacked by a villager (we don´t know who) but basically almost every one of them has a reason to do it. Adam, his mother and his father are big suspects cos of that affair but there are lot of people involved. Hope I helped

@sanyrub since Aaron's away at school and you gave a gr8 discription of Judgement Day I had to watch.It was really good watching Cain be so evil.Jeff is a gr8 actor.The whole cast was good.It was good hearing Hazel talk about Jackson with Declan.Thanx 4 the info mate<3

@jwsm2 In fact I just found out Danny (Aaron) won one more award last week as Best Soap Star (male or female, at tv times magazine). And the best thing is the second most voted was Pauline Quirke (Hazel). I agree with this, to me actor and actress of the year (in soapland)

yessss Aaron is back on Thursday I can not wait I hope he gets some good story lines, he is meant to go looking for the person who attacked Cain which is good cos he needs a good story line he has not really being in emmerdale much the last few months.

man the actress who plays hazel has lost some major weight i have noticed that in the last 2 months

I disagree, NO one can be Aaron now that Danny has played him....i didnt take any notice of the character with the previous actor that played him but Danny has played a blinder with the character and only he should return if he should want to one day!

Hazel wants to be around Aaron because it reminds her of Jackson, and Aaron doesn't want to be around Hazel for the same reason. It's sad after everything they've been through together, but I think the only way they can properly move on is to separate from each other.

It's funny when Cain calls Aaron "sunshine".

It's another one of those "It's all about Hazel moments".  It's OK for her to go off on a holiday to "clear her head", but when Aaron goes she has a fit.

Hazel looked sad after learning Aaron was going to be away for a bit. She and Aaron want the other to be around. On the other hand each is being reminded of Jackson. Just hope they can find a middle and peace.

This is a painful moment in the last scene. Its like she didn't want him to leave. And he feels he shouldn't go feeling guilty for going. The look on his face and hers showed their pain, just as I could feel theirs. Pauline and Danny make all emotions believable.
