I have used Grammarly successfully for more than a year with good outcomes. NOT NOW! Grammarly has run off the tracks. I do get prompt problem assistance, but after many responses, Grammarly still does not work. Something bad has happened, and I have asked for a subscription refund, but now my inbox is silent. They can't fix it, and they won't refund your money. Take care! Joe

Just added Grammarly Free and tested it and I love it! It works with all my programs and is worth the extension download. My grammar and spelling are usually very good but sometimes I mess up with a typing error. I always proofread so I catch the error but with Grammarly, it's much easier especially, when you have a long document.

Let's say I provide consecutive information about two systems that have quite similar working principles. If I reuse similar expressions because the systems are alike, would Grammarly Premium be capable of using these phrases once and providing common information about these two systems while also discussing different aspects of these system?

Can someone please tell me what constitutes a "Prompt?" Since 100 prompts are offered with the free plan, and more prompts with the paid versions, I'm not sure what I am getting for the money.

I am trying to understand the use for Grammarly. Why not just teach in school? And better yet, why not learn grammar in school? The fact that this even exists shows a pitiful lack in the education system.

This feels less of a review than an advertisement. I would like a review to show Grammarly in use and to discuss ease of use, platforms etc etc.

It sucks. The suggested phrases don't match with what it actually enters, it removes spaces between words, and gets spelling wrong. It's worse than the spell checker that came with my OS.

For me it does not work well. It makes corrections in the wrong section. For example.if I need a comma after a word it places the comma in the middle of the word! Does anybody else experience this?

Grammarly SUCKS! Do not waste your money. I went from receiving 98%-100% on every assignment until I started using Grammarly. I purchased the premium thinking it would save me time on proofing my college papers only to discover it costs me more points lost when I use. Never again! I am not wasting anymore time on Grammarly or my 4.0 GPA. I do not recommend unless your punctuation and grammar are horrible already.

Well, if most people had paid attention in college or even earlier and not been bent over their phones 24/7, they'd probably know more now. Most young people are completely illiterate. They can't read handwriting or even write it. The beauty of the English language is completely lost on the generation today. If there isn't an app on their F phone, they don't understand.

wtf is this a review or a showcase? My local colleges are banning Grammarly from any papers because of the issues professors run into with the product. I have used the free version personally and let me tell you, I AM FORCED to proofread even more. Since then I write my own essays with my on efforts and have been doing so for fun. I write fanfics and even occasionally write some scripts of some DnD campaigns. I do not reccomend this product because it is a flawed example of catering to a lazy generation, which is being taken advantage of by a greedy company.

Not worth it. Its just another way for these app companies to sell your personal info and data. Just pay more attention in grammar class or take a one and you won’t have to run into this problem.

Whomever designed this Pot of Gold "Grammarly" was brilliant! I was TAUGHT Grammar in school when that was what our teachers did in school - teach not preach. You developers were counting on the laziness of others to create a fortune! But, without electricity too many indivuals could not write a letter to anyone about any cheat sheet... I took pride in an A on a paper done by myself. During the 1970's schools began the dumbing down of students. A pitiful example of where that lead. pretty soon all that's left is MORE discrimination and separation of ideas, like more plagiarism, lack of new concepts spelled out, and a whole new herd of unschooled sheep! So glad I learned more than a Biology lesson in my English class... but hey you got strong thumbs...

Grammarley...the gift for thickos and cheats that want to appear more intelligent than they appear because they didn't pay attention in school nor bothered to make an effort to improve their English after it. For second language learner this is very helpful and has it's place.

It turns British English into American English… it turns flowing prose into the sort of language you’d use when talking to a stroppy toddler… it makes you sound like you’re got the IQ of a spoon… it’s also regularly wrong. Aside from that it’s great… if you’re American with the IQ of a spoon talking to a stroppy toddler.
