That's awesome, man. I recently started skating again. I quit drinking about 5 months ago. I found myself in a bad spot with my marriage (recently back together). Alcohol and I, ruined my life. It ruined the navy for me, it ruined what my marriage used to be. My relationship with family and friends. I made mistakes at work, and my buddy I was training got hurt because I couldn't focus, day to day. I left, I sold my house I actually began the volunteer process for the foreign legion to go to Ukraine. I had this idea in my head that would solve some of my issues. Go help maybe and fight. After I quit drinking I started skating more seriously (thinking less of fighting in ukraine) and watching your videos to help my progression. I've been skating like five times a week for months and keeping up with your new videos. To see you now in Ukraine is kinda weird emotionally for me. You're helping in a way you know best and a way I could personally relate to... better than what I was trying to do as a veteran. That just goes to show how bad the alcohol really is for the mind. I hate making things about me, but I just couldn't help mention how ironic that all was. I'm trying to loosen up and just relax. This just kinda came full circle for me.
