Stu Ungar Wins 1997 World Series of Poker Main Event + Winner Interview

In honor of Gabe Kaplan retiring from poker commentary, we share with you the final hand of the 1997 World Series of Poker Main Event and the accompanying winner interview. This moment in poker history marked the final time we'd ever see poker legend Stu Ungar play a televised event and also his last-ever tournament cash. Ungar won $1,000,000 for winning this event and sadly passed away on November 22 1998 at the age of 45.
