Located in the Middle of Edison Township (like the yolk of an egg) Nicknamed "The Brainy Boro" , you will find the Cathedral of the Diocese of Metuchen, Metuchen Golf Club, St. Joseph High School & Metuchen High School, The Old Franklin Schoolhouse, Train Station to Manhattan in the middle of Downtown area, LOTS of Restaurants, French, Chinese, Greek, Latin, Japanese, Italian, Mexican, Pakistan, Thai, Portuguese plus the famous Metuchen Inn etc etc oh before I forget, its where the famous Magician David Copperfield lived & grew up till his high School years.

I’m from Manahawkin which is right over the bridge from Long Beach Island. I always thought my town was nice. I went to Montclair State and it’s a very beautiful place. My husband grew up in Tuckerton another small town. Smithville is also nice to visit.

Cape May with no mention of whale watching cruises? Morristown is best known by far for Washington's Headquarters (Ford Mansion & Jockey Hollow) National Park, yet you never mentioned it.

There are lots of wonderful small towns in New Jersey. But I just can't get past some of these pronunciations: AZZberry park? The emphasis is all wrong. And half of the downtowns have bau-teeks?

Glen Ridge doesn’t have a downtown at all. So it’s certainly not “known for its charming downtown area”.

So I guess they forgot to mention great towns in South Jersey like Collingswood, Haddon Heights, Medford....not only charming but happening as well with many events held throughout the year.

You forgot to mention when referring to a Montclair, the Montclair State University, which is a replica of a European town. It’s absolutely beautiful. My daughter is a junior there right now and very easy access to New York City a train right on campus that goes into the city.

This is a nice video about New Jersey, but when are these You Tube narrators going learn how to pronounce words correctly. I can understand mispronouncing town names, especially if they are not from the area. But to mispronounce famous names as Monet and Matisse as one name when they are two different people. By the way it’s Claude “Mon-ay” and Henri “Ma-tees.” 🤦🏻‍♀️
