you need to open the menu to play with pikachu or eevee
well, this comment is 4 years late
Handheld plays just like how the PKMN games play since DS.
Outside of catching.
How do u use or deactivate assistant trainer in handheld mode? I'm stuck...
ОтветитьI still want a let’s go, Johto basically a silver gold and Crystal remake and before everybody says 3/80 remain those games till silver in heart gold they pretty much already remain the Kanto games twice now
ОтветитьI didn’t even know you could shake the joy con to interact with your partner Pokemon till just now, I always went to the menu and selected their head icon.
ОтветитьI don’t even have a switch and I know that you have to go in the menu and click the button to play with pikachu lol
ОтветитьPress x then go to play with pikachu and eevee
ОтветитьI like hand held mode better because of the motion control. Whenever I have it in dock mode I’ll throw it right down the middle and the ball will fling some other direction. Plus when I’m navigating through a city I can use my left analog stick rather than using just the right joy con all together. Recently bought this game and an 8bitdo controller thinking that would be awesome to use since it has motion control but, nope. Bummer me out a bit. That’s life. Keep up the awesome videos, look forward to seeing the notification saying there’s a new video out.
ОтветитьIf next part will have the same system of catching im not buying it, old way is the only way
ОтветитьHow do you select handheld mode in the menu though?
Ответитьi like how he didn't see the giant ass button that says "play with pikachu"
ОтветитьGonna say some things just in case, for some reason, people haven't played the game yet. In docked mode, there are some extra options, mostly involved with shaking the joy-con. In battle, you can shake your remote while your partner pokemon is out to get some super powerful move (Veevee Volley or Pika Papow), the power I think depending on friendship, either that or how much you play with it. If your partner pokemon isn't out, you can shake the joy-con to boost every single stat while in battle. I'm not sure how often it regenerates, but usually, after I play with the partner pokemon some, it comes back. And, while in the overworld, you can shake your joy-con to have a shortcut to play with your partner pokemon. You can also use two joy-cons at once while catching a Pokemon and throwing the pokeballs at the same time to get extra exp and a higher chance of catching the pokemon. All of these things can be done as long as the joy-cons are disconnected from the switch. If you're going out of town and aren't bringing the dock, you can still do all of this, just get a stand for it. Most of the aforementioned things you can't do in handheld mode with the joy-cons attached, but, if you want to play with your partner pokemon, just click on the Pikachu/Eevee head on your menu. It stands out my not only being above the other options, it's also, by far, the largest button on the menu. In hand-held mode, you can use the touch screen to play with your partner, and if you use 2 fingers and rub it's head, you can change its hair style. This is the only thing you can do in hand-held mode that you can't do in dock mode.
ОтветитьIs it just me or i want it in mobile?
ОтветитьHand held is much easier for me
ОтветитьOf course it's hard. Pokemon was originally made for handheld device/devices... what?
ОтветитьCan I have that white Switch skin?
ОтветитьI just notice that I have the same gameboy advance as you well it looks like it
ОтветитьI like how your intro changes when it’s different games
ОтветитьI have tried play with Pokémon let’s go, it had some glitches by when in tilting mode to throw ball, I hold my switch still and it went tilting up and down by itself also when I use left joycon, my character walking by himself when I stop moving the circle analog for no reason. So technically handheld mode isn’t good with Pokémon let’s go
ОтветитьIk this is late but, his switch is lookin sleek with dem colours 👌🏻
ОтветитьI only play in handheld, I’ve been playing Pokémon on the go since the 90s
Ответитьi want this, but it's came out too close to smash and that will take up all my time lol
ОтветитьI play h field just because I play literally every game in hand held, and when you first enter a battle, most Pokemon that don't move much you're already set perfectly in the middle, I can get am excellent every time, and if it's not in center usually I just have to aim up a tiny bit
ОтветитьShould o get this as my first game on christams
ОтветитьI like some of your videos but you should probably do research before making videos. You’ve literally given so much misinformation in this video.
ОтветитьI’m having an issue where when I move the left joy stick I can’t make my character to run instead he’s stuck in a walking animation whenever he walks up and down please someone HELP
ОтветитьUse the touch screen idiot lol
ОтветитьHandheld is by far the best way to play.
ОтветитьHandheld is a great way to play. You have alot more control throwing pokeballs imo. :)
ОтветитьHandheld easier is far more easier to capture and their only used gyro mode.
ОтветитьHandheld mode is the only way to change your partner pokemon's hairstyle. :)
ОтветитьButtons, not “Buddens” lmao
ОтветитьCan you use the pro controlller with it
ОтветитьYou can press a to confirm and b to cancel as well as the left stick to move your view when catching
ОтветитьIn handheld mode, playing with Pikachu/Eevee means touching your screen and literally interacting with your partner. Also glad you found out about the always on motion detection being a benefit to catching pokemon... if only you didn't make it seem so hard because you're having trouble Austin. Also, I do play half and half because I like the variety and experience, including playing with the pokeball as my joycon.
ОтветитьWhy there isn't a video that go over how to use both joycon to throw 2 ball.
ОтветитьTo interact in handheld mode with your partner hit x save options comes up click up to play with eevee/pikachu and techniques are on the side :). Also I feel like throwing poke balls are easy 😂
ОтветитьSCREW BO4, LET'S GO IS THE BEST WAY TO GO!!!!!
ОтветитьBeing perfectly in the center is really easy, either you just click get ready and keep it there, or you use the charging port to aim. If you have the cable plugged in then you almost have a crosshair
ОтветитьCan someone help me here? I'm having a serious issue. I can't launch Pokémon Let's Go Eevee without an internet connection but I can play the game without internet connection. Is that a problem with other people?
Ответитьyou can go to the menu screen to play with pikachu
ОтветитьMotion controls ruin games. End of story.
ОтветитьPokeball throwing simulator
ОтветитьWhy isn't there a swipe mode on the touch screen. Doesn't anyone remember that the original mobile game was on your touch screen! I mean how hard could that have been!?
ОтветитьThis has been the way I've played it 100% of the time thus far hah. Was actually just thinking how it would be nice to play it on my TV later tonight.
Ответитьlol handheld is infinitely better than single joycon controls. I’m not sure what this video is even trying to say.
ОтветитьDamn .. How could u miss the literal button in the menu which takes off 2/3's of the screen .. also i like catching pokemon in handheld alot more, cause it has alot less rng in it.. you just look at the pokemon and press A, while in joycon mode the ball just sometimes flies off to the site
ОтветитьI'm having no issues in handheld, catching Pokémon is easy, to play with Pikachu is in the menu...
ОтветитьYou need to press X to go to menu then click on the picture of Pikachu or Eevee to interact with your partner when in handheld mode 👍🏼
