ОтветитьThank you! I'll go with the linear.
ОтветитьCool. Does the linear switch feel like, just a good membrane/dome keyboard?
God bless.
blue switches to make friends in libraries
Ответитьshould i get linear or tactile for someone who bottoms out when i type
ОтветитьI've found that if the bump is too sharp, tactile switches start to make a high pitched clicking noise when typing fast from the sudden release of pressure on the down stroke. A slightly more rounded bump like the Boba 4u and 4uts keeps the switch from pinging too hard on the bottom out as it releases the pressure gradually throughout the key press even after the actuation. For people who really want a sharp tactile bump, the standard MX Browns are fine, but I am happy with a slightly less bump for keys that actually sound good when trying.
ОтветитьWhere do you purchase your switches
ОтветитьThanks you helped me pick my switches!
Ответитьhey malaysian keyboard enthusiast
Ответитьwhat mousepad are you using?
ОтветитьI don't know if this is specific to me but, I don't actually think there's a best switch. Best switch is whatever you get used to typing on. Case in point, my first switch was u4ts. Then I wanted to try other tactiles so i got glorious pandas. I hated them at first, but I kept using them because I like to circulate my boards. I used the gp board for about two weeks and I started really enjoying them. I went back to u4ts and it feels awkward to type on them now..... I'm not sure if I'm just losing interest in the hobby, or my preference changed... strange
Ответитьthat first set made me pause and screenshot 😻
ОтветитьWhat do you recommend the most as the best switches for those who need to type a lot of text?
