Shes one of the most heartless people I've ever seen. So many of her co-stars came out about abuse and she hasn't done anything other than break up marriages.

She looks like a complete different person now than during icarly or sam&cat. Its not only because she grew or because she is healthy now but she looks like herself if that makes sense, im glad she’s healed and glad her mom died too

If she decides to have kids, she will be a terrific parent no doubt.

I read her book and it resonated with me so deeply because my mother was like hers but 10 times worse. My mom was actually a sexual predator and was actually so psychologically and physically abusive that I’m surprised I’m even alive.

Reading the book and it feels strange how much I can relate to it. My sister is the one they wanted to see famous but I experienced so many of the same things that I read. Even smaller things in the book I can relate to. I live on my own for 1,5 years and don't talk to my parents anymore. I'm finally able to figure out my identity and be my full selve. Love this book. Very tragic and also very funny. Very happy for her too

It wouldn't surprise me if Jennette eventually thought her mother getting cancer again and dying was karma for what she put her through.

This is so scary. She showed 0 signs. Its like what chance do kids have its haopening to now if the muns so good at being evil. When she said about wanting to keep her young and controllable eugenia cooney popped into my head.

That's why mothers day drives me crazy. There are so many unfit mothers who claim they are good ones. The only good mothers are the ones filled with regrets and guilt.

I'm a longtime Nickelodeon fan, and I understand that things like this are pretty typical for child stars to have a fall as big as Jennette had because we don't always know what they're going through. I just hope she's doing well. I'm still a Nickelodeon fan, but just for the animated content, I decided to boycott the live action content because of emotional and traumatic issues and the people responsible for it.

It’s really terrifying how you grow and realize your mother is abusive to you. As a young girl. Society tells you that a mother daughter relationship is so sacred and that if you’re “not a good daughter” you are a terrible person, ungrateful. Your mother gave you life “how could you?” Even if you’re uncomfortable with what she wants to do.. a lot of the time mothers don’t know best. My mother is still alive and with very similar experiences growing up & moving forward knowing you’ll never get a “real apology “ hurts so much but also feels so good at the same time. I know I got closure on my mother’s actual personality and I weirdly am okay with never speaking to her again. People say “you will, you’ll want to” no I really don’t. And I’m thankful I got away and I can now live the rest of my life with me behind the steering wheel .

Some of us grew up having moms but they were far from mothers .

I read the book a few months ago, and was stunned and heartbroken of what she had gone through. Jeannette is very well spoken and articulate. I hope she writes more in the future
