I prefer Terrence Howard over Don Cheadle every single time for War Machine and I didn't like the way they replaced him and the ncu executive said people wouldn't notice because all black men look alike and Terrence Howard is a fucking brilliant man and a fantastic actor

I really don't understand all the hate that the Incredible Hulk that had Edward Norton has the Hulk Wyatt gets so much hate? I actually love that movie I think it's fantastic and way better than the other Incredible Hulk movie was Goofy

It's criminal this got copyright claimed. You put so much work into making this completely different from the movies, this is one of the best examples for fair use and the creator deserving the revenue from their hard work, rather than the corporate copyright holders.

Triple H was deemed as a potential candidate to play Thor but fortunately, it never happened but I wonder why the H-Man was marked as a possible candidate to portray the God of Thunder, could it be that he’s got the “whooping fools with a hammer” part locked in?

Dude bravo for putting together an entertaining and not too long video about MCU history. I wasn’t part of the hype train back then bc I didn’t have any interest in Marvel, but you have explained things so perfectly I can perfectly imagine how it must have been.

Good times for sure. Sadly there is plenty of time to reminisce.
Whatever the plan was it's dead now.
I will try DP3 but other than that disney needs to sell or learn how to make money by bringing a good product without agenda.
Subverting the customer's expectations hasn't nor ever will be profitable.

The Marvel Studios financing structure was a gamble.
Iron Man was a gamble. Thor was a gamble.

THE AVENGERS.......was a SURE-FIRE HIT before we ever saw a second of footage.

What we couldn't know at the time, was how EARTH-SHATTERING of a hit it would be.

Everyone who went to see this film loved it.
And A LOT of people went to see it.

I've said for years that The Dark Knigjt was the superhero movie that transcended the genre.
And AVENGERS was the superhero movie that made superheroes (and nerd culture) MAINSTREAM.

Tony doesn't get a flashy entrance "just cuz"
1. Introduce Tony and Pepper
2. Introduce Coulson (the touted heart of the team)
3. Introduce Stark Tower (which is a major part of Loki's plan and is the final title drop with the final "A")

Ironman did so well because it was the first costume superhero movie to focus more on the man outside of the costume than in it. A person could watch a Tony Stark movie all day without ever showing Ironman.

I enjoyed the Hulk A LOT.

Seriously they used moments like Banner trying to commit suicide in the arctic as told by Banner to Natasha (I think there was a deleted scene that showed that btw), as well as bringing back Tim Roth. The fact is Norton probably had better ideas and they rushed it for no reason. I’ve always felt that was the tension.

The truth about the ending of the first Ironman movie with him saying "The truth is.... .... I am Iron Man." to the press is that it's just in character for Tony Stark as the character. That is HIM from the Comics that we recognize actually translated well into the movie. And i'm pretty sure any other Iron Man comics fan will agree with me in saying so.

I actually loved the Thor movies 1 and 2. I don't understand the hate against them. They are shrouded in otherworldly mythos. Phases 1-3 are on another level of storytelling. Phase 4 has been abysmal. Loki is our only hope.

Dude, your comments a little too sanctimonious! I.e. your comments about Scarlett Johansson being paid 250,000 for Iron Man while Robert Downey Jr. received millions. He was the star! People were coming to see an Iron Man movie. How is this an example of marvels dark backstory?
