To develop more powerful man skills honestly my opinion " listening more" most men listen but also hate to listen to certain people especially our own women. They know they go on for hours. They must learn to limit themselves too
ОтветитьAnyone know which one exact books Jacko is referring to about leadership? Thanks in advance.
ОтветитьLove this podcast
ОтветитьAnd I'm silly. I teach those big jacked guys to beat me.
ОтветитьHow did I know that fighting and Jiu Jitsu would be in the response😅
ОтветитьWhen came to the US in 1980, a group of kids pushed me around. I signed up for aikido. It was a good start on my martial arts journey, but I had been encouraged by my dad to be a rounded person. Science, books, fitness, basic survival skills. He was a boxer and a recon back in CZ. I always wondered if he wanted a son, but being strong and capable and well-read is above any gender.
ОтветитьIdk where Charles is from but I know it's not the south or upper east of the country 😂. I don't care how much I train, if a person is not physically abusing they kid I stay the f* out of it.
Don't try that in the south Charles 😂
All I heard was…join the wrestling team. Lol! Jocko is literally the man.
ОтветитьThis is why i started going hunting again once my son was born! I feel like i have regained my manhood as an example to my son so he can grow up to be fearless and strong like his father! Not saying i am fearless but i dare to go to those mountains to thise dark places! And that is enough!
Ответитьi wonder who Jocko calls "big jacked guy"
ОтветитьI wish I had a big deadlift.
ОтветитьHmmm. I'm not sure jujitsu can stop 9 mm, careful there, dude.
ОтветитьJust remember Electricity is the only bitch that doesn’t like to be touched…😂 hard lesson that was learned years ago
ОтветитьThere's a cost associated with all education. Get busy paying the price.
The trades teach an individual what they can actually do.
Self-esteem and self-confidence building activities.
Love this… “Man Skills” …
ОтветитьNo need to be embarrassed about something you don’t know. Ask questions over and over again. The only stupid person is one that doesn’t try at all
ОтветитьRead about learning to make money and managing money.
Ответитьwhat is the thousand page book on how to lead
ОтветитьNo uncle Jake for me, but I got an uncle Jocko and uncle Echo
Ответить‘Hey come to my gym I’ll choke u out’ yup doing that next street fight
ОтветитьI work towards brains and brawn. I read all kinds of books on philosophy, psychology, history, and leadership, and I lift in the gym several times a week. I’m one of the smartest people in my masters program and I’m definitely in the best shape. People respect me for those things and because I am a good man and a leader. I wasn’t always that way though. It took lots of intentional planning, effort, and goals. This is the way.
ОтветитьBecome
Johnny sin
Calisthenics are better than fitness
ОтветитьYou can do literally anything in your home on your own.
ОтветитьFrench people probably don’t have access to places to shoot or guns legally.
Ответить"Truthfully, in this age those with intellect have no courage and those with some modicum of physical courage have no intellect. If things are to alter during the next fifty years then we must re-embrace Byron's ideal: the cultured thug." Jonathan Bowden.
Ответитьvery solid advice.
Ответитьbe a man.
ОтветитьJocko: what do you consider to be a heavy deadlift?
ОтветитьAfter I watched this I rewired my house and got electrocuted and want compensation Jocko 😂 get your chequebook out 👌
ОтветитьMy experience with sales has been wonderful. The culture can look cringe to outsiders, but in reality it’s just a brotherhood of guys bettering themselves.
ОтветитьEvery man needs to watch this video
ОтветитьI think the real benefit to “man skills” goes beyond just the application of those skills. It’s the confidence and presence you bring with you into every situation as well.
ОтветитьIt was fairly simple for me. I just kept trying to beat my personal best in EVERYTHING. It started in the gym and leaked out on to everything else i did. I have no formal qualifications but i command a fairly high wage now because im known to never take a day off and never stop working. Just work as hard as you can. Its never over
ОтветитьRead the works of Robert Greene. Such as Mastery.
ОтветитьFix your own electrical wires is the baddest idea ever. If you do a mistake, you'll burn down the house and the insurance won't pay you a penny. Then, I promise you, you won't feel manly at all...😅
ОтветитьJocko says literally anything
Other guy: mmm mhmmm
As a muay thai kickboxer, BJJ is gay as hell real men do striking
ОтветитьStop lifter oppression.
ОтветитьI always appreciate the French apologising to the English. It seems proper.
