To develop more powerful man skills honestly my opinion " listening more" most men listen but also hate to listen to certain people especially our own women. They know they go on for hours. They must learn to limit themselves too

When came to the US in 1980, a group of kids pushed me around. I signed up for aikido. It was a good start on my martial arts journey, but I had been encouraged by my dad to be a rounded person. Science, books, fitness, basic survival skills. He was a boxer and a recon back in CZ. I always wondered if he wanted a son, but being strong and capable and well-read is above any gender.

I work towards brains and brawn. I read all kinds of books on philosophy, psychology, history, and leadership, and I lift in the gym several times a week. I’m one of the smartest people in my masters program and I’m definitely in the best shape. People respect me for those things and because I am a good man and a leader. I wasn’t always that way though. It took lots of intentional planning, effort, and goals. This is the way.

I think the real benefit to “man skills” goes beyond just the application of those skills. It’s the confidence and presence you bring with you into every situation as well.

It was fairly simple for me. I just kept trying to beat my personal best in EVERYTHING. It started in the gym and leaked out on to everything else i did. I have no formal qualifications but i command a fairly high wage now because im known to never take a day off and never stop working. Just work as hard as you can. Its never over
