Well I am here to demonise. Lessgo
Ответить😢
ОтветитьI put my bread in the freezer, when it’s ready to use, use the softner on microwave for 30 seconds, then toast it. Good as new!
ОтветитьMy wife started making bread last year. We never buy any store bought bread.
White wonder bread is absolutely disgusting. Its such a vile product. Its almost as bad as kraft singles cheese
I make my own! Takes no time and minimal ingredients 😋 I’m sick of eating whatever this mess is…(it’s not feasible to keep bread fresh ) keep it in the freezer, thaw it out a few slices around a time, and it is perfect!
ОтветитьNo no no! Bite a piece of that hard inedible crust and just start chewing. As it softens in your mouth a wonderful sweetness will start to emerge. Have faith. CHEW. Also, try a no-knead recipe, it stays fresh longer. Try Jenny Can Cook.
ОтветитьThe other key difference with American sandwich bread is that it is incredibly high in added sugar, something which you don't find in sandwich bread in other countries. To me American bread tastes and feels a lot closer to brioche.
ОтветитьThe square thing is not a bread. It's a disgusting cake. Wake up america.
ОтветитьI wonder if she eats bread or just strictly studys it
ОтветитьI call a "sandwich loaf" floppy ass white bread. It's disgusting. Eat real bread.
ОтветитьMy homemade bread last a week 🤷🏿♂️.
ОтветитьI think my daughter has found her perfect career when she grows up, bread scientist 🥼
ОтветитьTo make quality bread last, put it in a poly bag - ! I do this with the sourdough loaves I buy and it can last five or six days without any undue degradation.
ОтветитьI know you're showing American sandwich bread, but why is it so yellow- ? In Britain, a similar bread would be white.
ОтветитьAs a European I wonder what the hell you are doing to your bread 😂
ОтветитьDon't leave any bread out in the open on your counter, yes it will dry out. I would think a two year old knows that!
ОтветитьFinally one of you said it out load. What you call bread is no bread whatsoever.
ОтветитьI almost never eat this type of bread. The traditional style bread is much tastier
ОтветитьIn germany we call those bagged soft loafs "toast bread" bc we rarely eat it without putting it in a toaster
ОтветитьArtisan bread is bread.
That other stuff is something else.
WHY DIDNT U WRAP UR BREAD UP? EVERYONE KNOWS U NEED 2 DO THAT
ОтветитьYou can really tell how exciting bread science is
ОтветитьMy bread recipe doesn’t get stale nor grow mold. Stays fresh well over a eeek. Shrug.
ОтветитьI liked the lady with the cat a lot better than the bread scientist. The bread scientist needed to tone down that excitement.
ОтветитьAnd then there's German bread. German bread doesn't give a fuck about getting hard.
ОтветитьCouldn’t watch the video. The ads at the beginning were too long 😂
Ответитьtfw no qt bread science gf
ОтветитьNice, just, everyone knows American bread is the worst in the world. Bread is is baked and eaten the same day. That is all.
ОтветитьWhy does the doctor eliza sound and look like Elliott Page (of course compliment to both) but she does have a similar voice even
Ответить"If you want bread to last for 2 week"
WHO THE FUCK LEAVES BREAD LYING AROUND FOR 2 WEEKS??
Toastbread.
ОтветитьThey focus too much on a quick rise. It doesn't have to be quick, you just need to have more storage for the rising bread. Ooooh soooo difficult and expensive to have an extra storage building full of rising bread, no we put lots of extra chemicals in the bread instead.
ОтветитьThis question would be like. What's the difference between a walking shoe and a style shoe? Or what's the difference between a baseball cap and a skull cap?
ОтветитьThat is sandwich bread they use to put that on packages sand wich bread is easy and fast to eat the other bread is for special occasions or times where you would have more time to eat since and digest instead of eat get up and go
Ответитьyou easily “de-stale” day old (or even three day old) bread by placing it in an oven or a microwave for 3 mins wrapped in a slightly wet clean cloth and aluminum foil
ОтветитьSo... Make your own bread.
Gotcha.
The bread scientist looks inhumanly tired. I wonder if she has a newborn or something.
ОтветитьMy mother bakes her own bread, and it doesn't really go stale unless it's uncovered, and I cannot remember a single time it has started molding ever, in the 14 years of my life that I remember.
ОтветитьOmg, thank you for the shot on how your bread looks the next day. I recently started baking breads and was wondering why my homemade bread only lasted 1 days!
ОтветитьI don't like hard crusts, so I actually prefer cheap factory sandwich bread to "artisanal" (but probably still made in a factory, because of course it is) breads. One thing that's happened during my lifetime is that it's gotten a LOT more shelf stable. Sandwich bread used to get stale/moldy in about a week; but for the last decade or so they've seemed to stay just fine for two or even three weeks. I'm not sure exactly what's changed, but I'm not complaining.
ОтветитьCiao! Actually... the 2 days old bread gets usually hard only on its external sliced face! Slice it off and the inside will still be alright and delicious. Yes, the crust also gets harder but that's a plus. And there are toasters, also invented to "fix" a hard slice of bread and make it more appealing texture-wise. Simple! But if you have been brainwashed for years that things must be extra sugary, extra cheesy, extra coloured and extra soft... then European breads will never do the job for you ;)
ОтветитьHe needs to do a special video and show people have bad is the bread
ОтветитьStore bread is more cake than bread
ОтветитьIt's not modern, it's from 1961 and is a uk creation called the Chorleywood bread process
ОтветитьIn the early 70s, the Co-op in Berkeley, on Telegraph Av sold 'Balloon Bread' - a pretty white bread ( might go without saying)
ОтветитьTBH, that "real" bread doesn't look very good either. The one he baked does, tho.
Edit: Ok. At the end of the video he shows why the "real" bread didn't look good.
In the rest of the world it’s called Cake
ОтветитьNah just freeze it
ОтветитьI only make bread from scratch, been baking since the 1990's.i use Walmart bread to fill my pillowcases😂
Ответить
